This is what makes us British.. this is what we are good at and should set more examples like this to the World - a kindly spirited nation. For those cynics amongst us (includes me to some extent !) not without reward. Mind you - there are many countries in World that need to perfrom a Spring clean even as UK is becoming a similar open trash bin these days - lack of respect and self discipline. Recommendations

In its Report, the Committee sets out four clear recommended actions for Government:

FYI:
1. Populate the traffic-light framework with destination countries by May 1 and announce the details in a statement to Parliament.
2. Explain the criteria and mechanism by which countries will move between risk categories by May 1.
3. Offer an affordable testing regime that supports public health and safe travel for everyone by maximising the role of lateral flow tests and ensuring the provision of affordable polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, where required.
4. Act immediately to reduce waiting times and queues at the UK border, including working bilaterally with partner countries to agree mutual recognition of travel health certification, deploying more staff at the border, processing passenger locator forms before passengers arrive in the UK and establishing an efficient system based on a single digital app to process health certification submitted in a range of languages.

The trouble is that the Western consumer has fallen for the old trick that you can get it cheaper elsewhere. e.g. Always baffled me that passengers on a flight boast that they only paid e.g. £30 return to Malaga - when there is no consideration of the consequences which is that to be competitive the airline would have to find savings 'elsewhere' - perhaps even costs that MAY affect the safety of the flight due to maintenance/aircraft handling costs cutting to allow this to happen. We have to pay reasonable prices for items that will last longer and support our economy to effect the development of internationally recognised quality product(s) - instead of buying cheap what is now being realised as a waste of money.
We, in the West, should expect to have to pay for 'quality' and be much more selective of purchases (savvy shoppers). Even though China has a lot to offer us I hope that we can rebalance the World's economy and not allow China to dominate for a possible re-run of de-democratising as appears to be taking place in Hong Kong currently. It'll be no turning back if that occurs !! Sleep well everyone.

to be exact would approach battery material suppliers (e.g. EMH) at the ESG point of the gigafactoid development plan and use assumptions that the factory could meet the ESG requirements even if it could be stated that ESG could be further improved - herein lies EMH to the rescue - assuming that KC working on enhanced mine/materials processing/supply ESG too - which is what I would expect to be taking place as we continue to ponder. I think that putting pressure on miners and factories to consider having a more robust ESG plan is a great thing - will result in having wheat from the chaff. EMH / KC understand this well it would appear.

the materials suppliers/miners must have an idea how far the commodity prices can go before customer could leave the [negotiating] table - we do not want irrational greed to set in (always a risk where humans are concerned !!) - I hope for reasonably acceptable and relatively stable commodity prices to accommodate all tiers of a fully integrated production/manufacture process to assure the kickstart to EVs / storage as a lasting benefit to us all.

If it was a safety critical system we would all be dead - that's how good the bid/offer is.

Discussions with suppliers will be well advanced by now - I would have thought.

Bit of the ol' chicken and egg going on - I think I would rather secure a site to build a gigafactoid then secure the battery materials immediately afterwards. If other way round - what price would the off-take be to an unsecured factory site. So, imo - it is what I would expect - also expect news to follow these new car/battery factories to start the fight over securing their resources.

This price action smacks of co££uptive behaviour by the market to rid themselves of the retail investor once they have their fill of early cash to build up a company - seen it so many time during my learning curve - this is the worst as company is supposed to selling internationally and be the 'gold standard' - maybe it has all been duff gen (?) - still learning that humans are the most distasteful species on the Planet. VAnV - the consequences of any 'long term plan' not coming up to expectations of the 'market' is the risk that we are taking here before the end of Q2 - sp will ........ we continue to wait and see - not always a good investment strategy - having a belief in a company and being tested like this. Better comms from NCYT req'd.

This is what I fear most about any company going silent like this - AircraftMechanic - happened before bad news for investors with SXX - scientists extremely rarely make good ceo's - even worse at selecting PR companies to act on their behalf. Once again I find myself tweeting and e-mailing for most of the day trying to jivvy things up and promote company and its products like I did with SXX whilst, in the background, others were at work trying to undermine all of that effort simply by not keeping investor updated properly - tweeting is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Rampers and de-rampers be intelligent & considerat; calm yourselves dow; have some thought about building investor frustration.
