With Indian approval "very very close" two weeks ago we still don't feature on the latest list of approvals yesterday!

They seem to be veering more to POC tests. Lets hope we can make up for lost time and revenue as soon as GDR can bring that to market

In Leicester it doesn’t really matter how good the rapid tests are or not. They have just been sent 10,000 kits but can’t use them because they forgot to send out the barcodes with them. Yet another shambles!
to look forward to over the coming months

Really does highlight the need for accurate testing!

Yes great post
I think this has been posted before but an encouraging read for GDR non Covid activity

With all the delays that have taken place I would think that the 1million indicative order and interest from the other 11 countries mentioned will have disappeared by now. I’m sure they will have sourced regular supplies of test kits from other companies and have probably lost all hope of Genedrive delivering the goods any time soon.
Looking at the India figures on the ICMR website they are testing millions by the day and probably have sufficient suppliers for their needs without having to include Divoc for our tests. They do seem to be looking more towards rapid tests which is where the future lies and haven’t updated their PCR approvals recently. Has there been a problem with our validation as there were about 40 companies approved at the time we applied and now there are around 150 approved with no mention of GDR?
It is also disappointing there are no sales to show in South Africa after approvals but as has been mentioned the rate of infection is slowing down as they move towards their summer and the requirement on the number of tests may have fallen.
A major concern of mine is that other work has been put on the back burner whilst all efforts are thrown at Covid. As commendable as that is, they still need to keep their other revenue streams on target without delays.
I hope GDR are well advanced into the saliva test with BC as I think this is where the future market will be. It would be great to hear news on that and the POC test and I’m hoping that we will soon have a strong foothold in the States.
I have been invested here since April and will stick with it to see which way it swings and I’m sure all will be revealed soon.
Here’s hoping !

Entered Genedrive in the internal search field and it comes up in the results as a pdf
Hopefully sales and distribution will be announced in Africa soon
We are well documented on the Sysmex website who will be the main distributors

Hopefully in collaboration with BC we will be well ahead of Roche by the end of the year with our test and hopefully millions of GDR tests will have been carried out by then!

@ Technick "Large GDR party heading our way"
I think DB is saving all this up for his birthday bash. I'll let all you BUDDing researchers find out when that is next month!
SP of 300p-400p by then I would hope. Lets hope he gets plenty of alcohol in before supplies dry up. Party maker or party pooper!

When searching for Divoc health it was just one of the headings that came up on my phone. I have tried looking for further information in connection with that comment but am unable to find any or the source of it, unless it was a comment made on the Divoc website and subsequently deleted. That's why I threw it out there to see if anybody else knows more
Can anybody shed any light on the following when it talks of a few problems with the Genedrive test kits

I wasn’t aware of any problems. I thought we were just waiting for approvals!
I’m surprised that DB hasn’t invited applications for an RNS writer. I can see this being a full time job in the coming weeks and months
In fact if a job comes up I might apply. I would love to be the bearer of good news time after time after time.
Not long to wait now before the news deluge begins
