I'm not convinced a bunch of small retail investors are going to make much difference to the shortability of this stock..
Certainly didn't think the SP would be at this level going into the end of 2021 - general consensus seems to be that supply chain issues are very temporary.
Read somewhere there was a distressed seller of Alpha stock, hopefully it wasn't Giles although his silence recently perhaps means it was.
Very positive trading update from Nightcap seems to have had a knock on effect here - hopefully RBG give a similarly positive update with their results in a week or so. It would be good to see this above 30p again.
It definitely was built on acquisitions and BPO deals however they never truly integrated these and as a result you had lots of Capita departments compete with each other, often giving business to 3rd parties in preference to giving it to their own internal business units.
If JL can chuck that kind of approach on the fire, then this train should pick up speech...
Never one to stretch an analogy :)
Geordie1252 - Anyone who thinks this definitely wont go bust needs there head examining... I'm hoping it doesnt but it's a pretty binary bet... Hopefully they'll get the SOA through and save the jobs for everyone at Amigo, whilst also giving the shareholders a boost.. .but who knows..
Gary doesn't know.. the bod don't know.. the FCA don't know.. and we don't know..
It still has to play out.
One things for sure... you got to be in it, to win it.. (or lose it all) :)
As this is pretty much a binary bet… I’d rather the share price remained low and perhaps even dropped… then if it goes bust the loss will be lower… :) maybe that’s just how my brain works..
Anyone else not realised that Cinema's are no longer socially distancing and seem to be using most of the seats? Pick n Mix is back on the menu as well!
Happy Chappy here..
I would say highly unlikely that we'll experience another lockdown - cases might be going up but deaths have sat relatively stable for a couple of months and less than 10% of peak.
Does gentlemans bet mean that's a cast iron guarantee? Assume so.. :)
I think you're right Claire, maybe even conservative
Does CINE usually attract a larger number of smaller share transactions? Not noticed it before.
I was hoping for a Bond Bounce back to 80+ - I'm sure it will come.
Axe - I'll hold you to that £4! :)
That 50p barrier seems a difficult one to break through
Thanks Brrr - Surface probably confused by that.
Did they Surface?
Where was this mentioned before? I can’t remember seeing it on any updates.
I've been topping up daily over the past week, surprised to see it drop again today as thought it had found a limit - I may add some more today or wait till tomorrow..
Oops... sorry :)
Without having to go through tons of chat history, could someone point out where the talk of share dilution started? Thanks
I’ve not noticed trades of this size before in Capita, well.. not for a very long time
