Vanadium prices jump 9.5% higher in the US as steel makers prepare for stimulus projects
Ferro-vanadium prices leapt 9.5% to $15.6-16/lb ($34.4-35.2/kg) this week in the US to a near 2-year high (FastmarketsMB).
The sudden acceleration in prices is due to consumers and traders stocking up ahead of demand for structural steel from new housing and infrastructure projects.
An estimated 20 million Americans live in mobile homes. These homes are not good from a welfare perspective not to mention their energy efficiency.
US stimulus cheques and funds should help in the development of substantial new infrastructure and policymakers move to kick start the economy.
‘Availability is tight, and it is in very few hands,” a trader said. “Prices are moving very fast and it is difficult to find material - people are holding off.’ ‘Contracts for 2021 included increased flexibility on volumes, reflecting sellers’ struggles to lock in volumes while sentiment and demand were weak throughout most of last year.’ According to a FastmarketsMB sources.
Bushveld Minerals* is one of the world’s leading producers of ferro-vanadium with around 5% of global supply. The company is also developing a new vanadium electrolyte production facility to support VRFB instillations for grid battery backup power. *SP Angel act as nomad and broker to Bushveld Minerals
Morning
The silence is deafening from Bushveld. The valuation is quite simply ridiculous. The rerate has to come to match reality.
With all that in mind and after a review of the numbers overnight, I topped up this morning on the Bell and brought another 50,000 shares on the open at the amazing price of 16.95!
By the close on Friday they should have turned a nice profit I would think.
But as usual dyor.

Bobby
Hello
Check out what Peter Lynch has to say on the subject. BMN ticks many of the boxes. And at around 18p I would have to say 'yes'. But make up your own mind.

When ur holding it’s frustrating but sooner or later you are cleared for the approach. You drop some flap, dangle the Dunlop’s and Bobs ur Uncle.
Reality is the final destination - it’s normally located where the science has been pointing all along.

"Point I make is that a move off AIM will not immediately translate to anything"
I strongly disagree with that statement. It just creates so much more exposure to the company and should bring on board more Institutional Investment. Most Fund ManagerS won't/not allowed, to go near AIM. Bushveld in a long term compelling story once you actually know about it that is.

@Bushmaster. The current sp of Bushveld is not the metric to consider. While we remain on AIM it will be be played like a Fiddle by the MM's. What the company has been doing over many years is creating a vertically integrated Vanadium business that will eventually be listed on the main Market and will be a cash generating Monster. All you have to do, is buy as many shares as possible, and have the patience of a Saint. And one day, in my view, it will be life changing for your finances.

Afternoon
One issue that never seems to get mentioned on here is how difficult it is to buy into the AIM Market if your purchasing shares from outside the United Kingdom. That is to say you are not a UK tax resident. Now I'm no Expert regarding this but I've had feedback from several individuals in different parts of the Globe who struggle with this and normally need to go through a 3rd party. I'd be interested to know how easy it would be for a PI in South Africa to buy into Bushveld. Individuals and companies often invest locally. Which makes me wonder if before we receive any Eskom tender news will we see a listing on a more advantageous Market in order for locals to take advantage.

Hello
Yes, perhaps Jan 2024 Alpha. I was reading an article the other day which stated there are over 1 million subscribers using AOL dialup despite the availability of cable/fibre Internet. And perhaps more unbelievable some Folks still using Fax Machines. The question is why is that? The answer is momentum. One technology does not just stop because there is a better one to replace it. As an Investor we need to recognise when a new technology emerges and buy in early. I believe with Bushveld, and the emergence of VRFB, that you and I and others on this BB have done exactly that. VRFB’s now have momentum to such an extent that I believe we are reaching a tipping point. Other Investors will eventually wake up to this fact, but we will be the ones that capitalise the most.

Morning
As the Share Price moves towards 10 quid, it is somewhat annoying to see the AIM MM's manipulate daily Trades so that they can profiteer simply based on the fact that they can control the share price for their own needs. However my personal big picture view is that, for long term holders this Share will be life changing and for the MM Clowns, well unfortunately they will always be Clowns, chasing their own Tails.

Morning.
Welcome to Lockdown3. It’s a pity we can’t Lockdown these MM Clowns! I mean how stupid do they think we are? Perhaps one or two may fall for their silly games. Maybe that D1ckH€ad Michael Gove is running AIM. Anyway, time for a little top up.
