you are not stranded eggy :-) it will come good. as for Franko, why don't you just take your small profit and sell up and move on if you are so negative... we know there are producing wells in the region operated by CGC, the basin is apparently "a well understood basin" according to Will Holland, so yes we already know some wells may need some fracking but as I said yesterday our CSO-85 workover performed well so expecting the current test to also be positive..

if the CSO-85 workover well flowed positively then surely this bodes good for the next well test result on Frac D ? hopefully won't need fracturing and it flows well at upper end of resource and they can sanction the pipeline to be built asap and get those 2 wells connected fast for some much needed extra revenue :-)

I'm just looking for the reason we have dropped from a high of about 19.5p on morning of 9th July after all good news all summer then for no logical reason we are down to these levels again. I noticed several days in the last few weeks we had way more buys than sells and the price continued drifting down regardless. Ok we know the RNS last week was not the best bit it also was not so bad and after a little work on ELM it should come good. Where is this steady rise into test results that I was reading about? I thought on a recent vox markets podcast they said if it closes above 16p I think then "it will fly" (well it closed over 17p many times) first stop 30p they said and then on to about 60p. I mean I can make up something and say if it closes above 14p tonight it should flyyyyy up to 1 pound. I only listen to these 'chart' people for fun because they haven't got a clue!! IMO

always better to have results ahead of expectation than pushing time frames back and back is my opinion. I want them to do everything correctly and carefully so we just have to wait patiently for the good news that will surely come! ;-)

8min 38sec onwards she says 2 weeks to test, I know its changed since then but maybe she should have stated upto 4 weeks per well depending on how it goes...

Having now isolated the upper zone of the well, a further rig-less stimulation can now be planned and completed without the testing rig on site and the rig will therefore shortly be moving to Fracción D to commence testing operations on the CSo-2001(d) well."

the last RNS says the 'rig will now move' (so after the test was finished. Fiona previously said the initial test rig was not needed for the full time and would move on to the next site before the 3-4 weeks was up because a smaller test rig could continue the work. so it seems after ELM the rig only started moving after the 13 Aug so maybe a few days to arrive and set up, maybe testing only started a few days ago at earliest?

as we have said several times, I think a quick tweet with a photo of the rig up for EVERY drill and test so we feel involved and know when we can roughly expect the results. 3-4 weeks from when is the question?

I am sure Fiona mentioned that they keep their eyes on these message boards to see what is being said. maybe it is something to be brought up at next Q and A session, we don't want to all bombard them with emails asking questions, I would rather they spend their time building the company and in turn building our profits ;-)

I agree egg about being kept informed. Also what some other posters have commented on, about it would be nice to see some more tweets from Echo and pics of drills/tests to keep us excited, it has all gone a bit quiet since the first 'gas to surface pic' months ago

I'm hoping results about end of October but just making the point about the 120m section already probably being "naturally fractured" and they comment that the remaining section "likely to require fracture stimulation" so it is already known/expected that some of these drills will require stimulation to get the gas/oil flowing so the result from ELM was disappointing in one sense but half expected and will still probably produce a nice bit of gas when sorted. Also Echo will have learned a lot from it. The next well result is more important to enable the pipe sanction on frac D and add the first worker to it CSO-85

"Not all of the column interpreted will produce hydrocarbons, with intervals of effective pay interpreted as being associated with the very elevated gas readings recorded over some 120m of the section. These are likely to correspond to zones of natural fractures in the formation, with additional potential from the interpreted hydrocarbon column likely to require fracture stimulation as is employed elsewhere in the Austral Basin. Initial assessment of the fluid type is a light oil based on pressure data, and results are very encouraging, but the Company notes caution should be applied prior to testing of the well".

From RNS dated 21st June. I understand it that the potential 120m net pay is already fractured? so doesn't need fracking? if they can frack the remainder of the 500m column who knows what result we could be looking at!! good times coming. Also we know fracking is used commonly "elsewhere in the Austral Basin" so why the panic this week just because we have to hydraulically stimulate ELM on the 8m pay?
