I think Dermot Jnr. will now correct that oversight and justify to his father that his expensive education was good value.

Yes, good news for Midatech's important MTD201 programme, with results back end of 2019 / early 2020, followed by "pivotal registration study in acromegaly patients is planned to commence early in 2020. Subject to funding, a pivotal registration programme to support a second indication in NET is also expected to commence in 2020."

So sounds like another round of funding required for the MTD201 registration programme later in 2020. Normal phased funding for such a project, so cannot see any issue there. All good and maybe some more US buying later today.

Great Board name for someone. I confess to being caught up and spiked during the run-up to the Feb 2019 Californian Licence renewal. I now know why it plummeted straight afterwards. Still, I now have moaning rights while we sit in the shop window waiting for a buyer.

So these licences aren't Webis's in perpetuity, they have to be constantly renewed, which is surely a large risk in itself.

So they don't use them efficiently when they get renewed and the only reason to renew them is to hope someone wants to buy them ? Doesn't seem like a great strategy to me and not without a great deal of risk.

This company is also fortunate to have Dermot Smurfit Jr. as it's CEO. He descends from a great family of Captains of Industry including Sir Michael Smurfit , Antony Smurfit (Kappa Smurfit) and his father Dermot Snr. No shortage of business acumen there. In progressive safe hands with a growing new format market, what's not to like. Strong Buy IMO.
