RE: Tightly Held24 Jun 2022 21:44
We certainly need a very good sponsorship deal, SOON. I also think the CEO, so far, has appeared lame and really the question must be asked, can he run a British based business from overseas? Maybe. Maybe not.
But, as I keep pointing out.
THE CHILDREN(employees) need reigning in, they are probably left to their own devices and see running round Selfridges, shooting toy guns at each other. Filming it and putting it on You Tube as a company Video, thinking it somehow has value. It doesn't, its like play school and no doubt they spent upwards of £15k doing it, plus all the Children were off school (their offices) for the day. So nothing value enhancing got done. Thats one example of many videos with only a few hundred views on their channel. These videos should be about the Academy and why its worth joining, ie interesting and more serious stuff for viewers who are potential customers and advocates. Guilds marketing is Grim.
I see GUILD as having tremendous value (potentially) its why im in here, pretty heavily. But I cringe at how its being run and the way money gets thrown away, that's the issue here, no one has built this from scratch, invested their heart and soul and cash. So because of this, its easy for THE CHILDREN to waste cash, if the CEO and other directors/managers are weak.
The management team need to get their s@it together. Already one clothing line has been binned, un-sold with some supposedly top level designer used to create the junk it contained. Bye bye a Million there.
So retail is another issue for for them, because once more THE CHILDREN are not being led. And indeed, if they were led by a strong, competent individual, plenty of cash could be generate from RETAIL via Clothing (if decent) gaming accessories, etc etc etc. But hey ho. Its not being done, because no one running the place is an owner. IE large Shareholder.
So they don't really give a F5CK. Thats my bug bear, the Teams are excellent, sponsors do not care really about revenues as we do, so the above only affects a deal, if the CHILDREN and Ceo etc. Fail to expend awareness once a sponsor comes onboard.
The CEO needs a kick up his A£se and he needs to then kick the Children into line. As you can see, it gets on my T!Ts the wastage and missed opportunities I see occurring. When GUILD could be a POWERHOUSE in all areas, not just the Teams.
