Another vaccine news story. All good, just an opportunity to get some more in.

5 fold increase already... Further to the announcement on 15 October 2020 when Novacyt acquired IT-IS International, the Company has significantly increased the manufacturing capability of IT-IS to manage the growing demand for its q16 and q32 instruments. From November 2020, the Company has scaled-up manufacturing capacity for instrument production more than five-fold, with further expansion planned, depending on continued demand.

Oh for an earnings update. So much sales and new product release going on. We are all guessing how much they are earning, and it would be lovely to see some hard figures that we call all whoop and cheer about. Still chipping away building my position again, bought SNG yesterday, sold them today, profit all in here again

So despite saying I'd wait for the dips to buy more I couldn't help myself and bought another tranch. God help me but I love this share too much

Agree with you there Har. Certainly some of the covid punts wont come back in full favour. Some though look tempting. Very tricky, as yes at this price it is a bargain buy, but my instinct still says there's alot of negativity still around. A new tender would sort that. For now I'll just sit on what I have an add on dips I think.

For me it's a tricky decision whether to add more or not. I'm looking at it as risk reward for NCYT and its peers. Upside for sure, probably hit 1200 again in the near term, so c30-40% upside. The other covid plays though havent recovered (true NCYT have the cash cornered so thats why), so on paper they look to be higher reward opportunities, but also higher risk (see ODX today). It's this discrepancy at the moment that is dissauding me from adding to my holding here. In a weird way I'd be much more confident if the whole sector was going up.

@Trilla. I'd buy that if other covid shares moved up with it, but its just NCYT which makes me cautious also.

Thats why im uber cautious simple. Generally moves like that (unless it is a leak of course) are unsustainable. Need something to support that rally or will drift back. My suspicion is a short squeeze. From comments over the last few days a few people obviously tempted into shorts to try to capture the sentiment.

A rise 0f 10% on a £7k director buy? Not convinced about that. Short covering probably, but not sure its sustainable. Hope so but other covid plays unmoved so cautious.

And its got very quiet again from those few people spreading nonsense on here, you know who you are Barnet. Busy closing their shorts no doubt.

Anyone else think these 'vaccine' effective rates are basically just been used as a political tool? Russia's is 92% effective supposedly, of course it is. Next I am sure Chinas will be 93% effective. In a few weeks Azerbajans will be 112% effective. I honestly have zero faith in any of these 'vaccines'.

It's a similar story to the summer, everyone thought testing was over then too only for the money to keep rolling in. Same situation here, regardless of a vaccine or not testing will still be needed, and NCYT are the best positioned and contracted up. I'd be worried about some of the other covid plays with no product yet, or sales channels in place. But for me, sharp drop. reassessment, then rally back. A hefty contract or sales update would go down a treat too.

Next trigger is likely to be a substantial tender award. I dont think it matters who gets it, would just boost sentiment that the moneys still flowing into testing. Love it to be ncyt of course, but regardless would boost the whole sector again.

Taking a step back a vaccine might reduce the blue sky price valuation chance, but there will still be a phase 2 nhs contract, care home contract, and further international deals. It's all good, just needs patience

Looked to me like it bottomed today. Cyclicals also hit resistance today and pulled back. Pfizer was also red. So on balance I think it should start to climb again now its found its base.

NCYT certainly best placed. embedded in NHS, contract extension imminent. AVCT and the like have waited so long to launch looks like theyve missed it. NCYT though still has the nhs, care homes etc, so I dont doubt it will hit 1bn valuation this year.

Dont worry Props I will be back in, hope tomorrow. Still believe in the long term value £12-16, just used today to gain a higher share holding.

I bought most at 250. I actually first bought at 100, sold out at 300 odd, missed the 500 rally, and bought back at 250. I've added a number of times on the way up as many of us have. I find your comment at lies insulting as I've been fully open. I'm out tonight but purely due to opening price uncertainty. When I think its bottomed I will buy back in. Today selling early saved me a shed load of profit. Believe it or not I care not, as I will sleep very soundly tonight looking at my trading account numbers. I wonder if the same can be said for yours? So dont go banging on about lies when you know sweet fa.
