I hope I'm not the only one chomping at the bit for these earnings numbers. All the research and all the tantalising information on markets and distributors to me signals even my most optimistic estimate is probably under the true numbers. Come on Jan!

I still think they've got communication wrong this year. Monthly updates like we had early was too much, and caused too much share price volatility. Half yearly is too little with the rapid developments in covid. I get they can't update on every sale as they have hundreds of distributors. But it would be a relatively simple task to release a quarterly volume update, saying we are producing and selling in all forms x million tests per period. Then people can do their own calcs around income etc.

No chance of news in Dec that going by past experience, barring any major contract win. Share buy lock in etc. We wont get news until end of Jan with the results. We will however get a price rise leading into that as people buy ahead of results. I'd hope and expect us to be over 1000 by then, if not more.

That's why volumes low, despite the small ups and downs no ones interested in selling. Only way that happens if it goes up substantially and tempts people to take profit. I'd contemplate it at 1400-1600, 850? Ha, no thankyou sir. Anything with an 8 handle is laughably low, so we all await impatiantly. Blackrock don't pump in 20 odd million unless they are going to make very good money. Time they put their boys to work and pushed it up, start hoovering up all volume and drive it up, pocket change to them to do it. Only reason they might not is if they havent finished building their stake yet, which seems highly likely.

Come on Blackrock you sons of .... You can't be happy sat on a few percent profit, stop messing about and drive it up instead.

We all eagerly await it.... Nice to see a bit of blatant price manipulation at close, over 2% below the French price again. I'm sure we'll see some after market deals at lower than market prices again, honestly dont know how they get away with it. What a thoroughly boring day.

I wonder when the share price will be allowed to move up to its fundamental value. I can't imagine there is much interest in selling in the 800's as evidenced by pretty low volume. Results in jan, so we'll get a rally leading up to that, but when will it start I wonder. Feels like someone's trying to bore us into selling, with these little up and down moves.

B) Because it generates more profit than Popeye eats Spinach

After watching Spurs waste 2pts against palace I'm fuming. Nothing short of a 100% up day tomorrow for NCYT is acceptable, cheers us all up for christmas.

That Diamond guy on twitter who shorts always makes me laugh. Whenever he posts it always goes up, can only imagine how much they've lost shorting, given they've been shorting on and off from under £1. Like I mentioned last night, the more you see these derampers post, the more likely its at an inflection point and will rally. Its talking your own book, when you're desperately trying to persuade other people to see your viewpoint, it means you aren't as confident. It works the other way too, whenever it gets way too bullish and comments like it can only ever go up, get on board etc, then I get wary.

Pence of course, but if it were pounds I imagine a few of us might take a bit of profit at that point :)

Its ridiculously cheap, but that's a result of poor communication from NCYT. Guidance on earnings and we would be getting annoyed about a drop from 1600 to 1500 today, not sat at half that twiddling our thumbs, waiting for an update. We will get there, my personal view is 1100-1200 by Christmas, but who knows.

Patience is key of course, and is usually rewarded. However, come Jan that's 6m since the last meaningful update, and even the most tolerant of us will be chomping at the bit by then. To me its unacceptable to only update half yearly, when income is ramping so rapidly. No one has a clue how high earnings will be, very least that's needed is updated guidance.

Seems we have a bit of a coordinated short deramping bombardment on here and twitter tonight. Yawn, only occurs when they get worried about their positions. At least that's positive today

Not sure why it would make any difference, there's already plenty of rapid tests on the market, simply being UK produced isn't much of a muchness for me. Maybe hurt the likes of Avacta etc as its direct competition. For me it's just the technical boys at play, they love their volatility. We'll keep getting bounced up and down until NCYT come out with some news, of which we all continue to impatiently await. If you're reading this NCYT, it's been a rubbish year, do us all a favour and give us an early Christmas present RNS.

Weird action today for sure. Whole covid sector down. Would have thought with all the vaccine news out of the way these little covid market tantrums would be behind us, but hey ho. Added a little today personally. Still awaiting some news to put a rocket under it.

For balance I am Sagittarian also. Sounds like its a conspiracy to wipe out all the NCYT holders en mass. Although my wavy brown locks probably provide an element of protection for now.

That's slightly different though isn't it? The test data is an allergic reaction to a jab (although why you'd react to a placebo I have no idea). What the 2 people we saw yesterday had was a severe reaction due to underlying allergic susceptibility. One is a few red spots, the other is to need one of those allergy pens to stop you going into shock.

On a serious note though. Why would Pfizer not have anyone in its test group that has allergies? Assuming they didnt hide the data, then that to me suggests they pre screened their candidates to be only people who were fully healthy with no underlying conditions. Yet, the first people to receive the vaccine are the elderly, who are much more likely to have underlying conditions. That is worrying to me.

Best buy some hair dye first before they assess you for the jab
