Forgive me for wanting the best for this country and for future generations Red, no need to be agro because you have a different view. My view is brexit will hurt not only us but our children, and as a brit I belive that is wrong. You obviously have a different view and are welcome to it, but I wont be swayed by the nationalist propaganda machine which is slowly driving this proud country into the ground.

I'd argue the foolish are those voting for brexit, closely followed by the politicians who haven't got a clue what to do to sort that mess out. The UK economy is already contracting in anticipation, and companies are pulling out of the UK or not investing here. The brexit nonsense is doing nothing for this country except damaging the future prospects of all of us. If brexit goes through we will incur a recession this country has not seen for decades, and many people will lose their jobs as a result. Now that is foolish.

They did, and Im 100% sure if we voted again that would not be the same result. The reality is known more now so you will find much more would vote to remain. I have no doubt if Lib dems get in power either outright or through a coalition we would not do Brexit. A vote, or an outright cancellation. Either way Brexit wont happen.

I shall be voting Lib Dems and I advise all remain voters to do the same. Brexit cancelled by the back door. Only way we can save this country from the Labour and Conservative horror show.

It will be diluted massively. If you dont have the ability to buy more (and its unclear how much you could buy in for given the unknown element of it) then your holding will drop in value substantially. Anyone saying that its not a bad thing this dilution is misleading. It will be an astronomical amount of new shares for the debt which makes existing shareholding virtually worthless (which TCG have themselves said). Trading this given their situation is pure roulette, in fact given the spread youve a better chance of making money at roulette.

Well Falkland is by far the biggest troll on here. In balance though there are also a few overly positive comments. I'd love 550p as much as the next man, but I think that's being overly optimistic. I'd settle for 400p by 2020 comments to keep a happy middle ground :)

Agree on the capital release, however that's already fully known by the funds shorting it. If it worried them then they would have closed when the plan to sell kier living was released, however that doesn't appear the case, which suggests they aren't concerned about it with respect to their short positions. It suggests they don't believe that the sale will have any meaningful impact on the share price. They could be wrong of course, they're taking a punt just like everyone else.

A sale of Kier living in itself doesn't mean much as it is known by the market. Whether it rises or falls on the back of a deal will depend on the price they get for it. A price at book or above and it will rally, a disappointing price, well then its game on for the shorts.

Given it traded at 12p in the auction yesterday the comments of 12p tomorrow were completely justified. So when you say 'do your homework' that fact alone shows that you are the one that has not done their homework. When you reply to someone calling them silly, please make sure you make sure what you are saying is actually correct otherwise you look poorly informed/educated.

People are not suggesting 12-14p for no reason. They are saying that is the level it will go back to on the back of a more positive bond market (being that was where we were before the negativity, its the next trading level on a fundamental basis). To imply people are just plucking numbers out of the air is foolish interpretation on your part. Because shorts can knock a price down does not mean fundamentals have changed in any way.

Today and tomorrow are a lesson in why people shouldn't short. With the expected gap up tomorrow morning any shorts without guaranteed stops are going to be brutalized. Personally have no sympathy for them as they are ****roaches in my opinion, taking pleasure in other people's problems. Karma

Its up because the US tariff delays mean the bond markets have become positive again. Given the reverse was the reason we got hammered, its now the reason that all those shorts, on the back of it are frantically trying to close out. Also why the market is in auction, because the buy orders will be massive.
