The reason French volume has increased is that covid is all over the news in europe and now globally. cases are rising hugely across europe, so it is natural that those sat on the sidelines thinking covid was fading out, now are piling back in again as it is clear its not just not getting better but it is actually deteriorating daily. We haven't seen II increases yet, but it will, because one things those boys love is buying into a trend change.
I see it mentioned yesterday 100 confirmed cases in SA, but I've just read on bloomberg that on Wednesday 90% of the new 1100 cases in Jberg were the new mutation. Which suggests that it is massively more transmissable than previous strains. How long before the gov reinstitutes PCR testing only for travel, weekend? Next week? No way they will keep travel as relaxed as they are and encourage that coming across the border.
