Wouldn't take anything for granted. This could shoot up at any time. Look at the huge rise in late January after the unexpected news of the placing. This seem to rise on unexpected news not the regular brilliant drill results. Always expect the unexpected! Maybe some sneaky good news from Leigh Creek.

All good points dobrewotnot. Yes, I hadn't thought of your point regarding organisations/institutions waiting till MRE when investment case will be clearer.

It maybe a selling point for some, but the following months will not be devoid of news with new drilling campaign underway and also the time scale to PFS maybe not that long since a lot of work on this may already have been completed. Would expect it maybe by year end. The SP has been rising for the past 4 months, that will be 5 by the time the MRE is published, you couldn't describe this period as being devoid of news. So why should it be any different in the period leading up to the PFS.

The MRE is clearly not priced in. Broker guidance is still giving SP of 4.8p based on old data. Also MRE is just a stepping stone, we have continuity through to PFS and funding in place for this, so not expecting any drop off.

I find it reassuring that our main worry now seems to be how much tax we have to may on our gains. Having already maxed out on my isa there there don't seem too many options. Don't want to tie up in pension that maybe taxed further down the line. I seem to think if you die you pay less tax on AIM shares, but not sure and not a good option anyway. If you let the tax question control when you sell, it could cost you more when the SP is certainly rising more than the 24% tax. Have come to the conclusion that I will do very well anyway and will just suck it up. Obviously will add another 20k to isa in April.

Great post totally agree with everything. The important thing to remember is that the MRE is not the end target, we have continuity through to the PFS. Also Agee with price target of 8p plus+ as year progresses. 20p is fantastical but to those that it seems to worry I don’t feel the need to try and drill down on why this wouldn’t be the case, it’s a harmless hope maybe based on the value of what’s in the ground, just let it go, I don’t find it serious. The hope of 8p plus is more than enough reason to be invested.

The placing was widely regarded as very positive news and led to the substantial upward rerate that led us to where we are now. The funds it provides gives assurance of forward progress beyond the MRE so there will be no drop off. There is now continuity to the PFS that should be published later this year. End of. Anybody who thinks otherwise is a worrier or is deliberately trying to deramper.

There is no proof that placing shares are being offloaded. The volume at the moment is minuscule, there is just a small amount of buying and selling. The SP has consolidated very well at this level. Expecting a further jump up in next few week as publication of MRE approaches.

In the scheme of things there has been no drop off. Think this is being over thought. We are rattling around waiting for more news. The only other things we have to talk about are tungsten prices and cost of establishing a mine years down the line. The volume has been so small since the 17th Feb that any share price movements are irrelevant and can very quickly correct. Volume is so small that even I have more shares than the entire daily volume. When you look at share price movements volume is very king.

Absolutely no proof that it is the placing shares being sold and if there were substantially more sells than buys the SP would have dropped. Sells could be from anyone, longer term holders top slicing, traders and indeed maybe some of the placing shares. It's a natural process and if no one was selling there wouldn't be any available to buy. Actually over the past few days volume has dropped to next to nothing and there is no substantial activity and selling at all. If you look at the size and volume of trades going through I don't think it's even worth the bother of someone with high net worth getting out of bed for. The list of late reported trades has dropped right off. Assume most people are now holding awaiting further news. Don't think there is any need to worry about quite periods and any slight fall back on consolidation is irrelevant based on the volumes now being traded.

Assume if SML use TUN’s processing facilities it will be a simple processing deal as Tungstenman suggests. Plant would be up and running long before SML needed it. Can’t really see how a partnership would come into it. Also as far as I know TUN is just tungsten and tin, so would they be able to process copper, silver etc? What ever method they choose just comes down to the economics which will be addressed in the feasibility study.

The SP has been shown on this site at about 3.4p for most of the day so far, a slight loss of just under 3% from the 3.5p stated for yesterdays close. However the official close was not 3.5p. If you look at the London Stock Exchange site the official close was actually 3.4p so we have in fact been level all day. Steady as she goes!

Think that was a very satisfactory day. A nice little rise and the drop from yesterday is starting to reverse. It always seems to work out better when we get modest incremental rises rather than large swings that often seem to overheat and reverse. But maybe not as exciting. However confident you are it would have been easy to panic and sell a few when price starts to drop quickly like yesterday. Only problem is that just fuels the drop. Don’t let day traders make money from you. Think we are now getting a stronger group of shareholders that are not letting go of their shares so easily. Hopefully we will now get a nice steady rise.

It’s seems a lower volume day so few people selling after yesterday’s charge affects price more. It’s bound to bounce around a bit when it rises quickly then followed by consolidation. We’d all be very rich if we managed to sell on each peak and buy in each trough, but it’s hard to do that since you never really know what’s going to happen. If everyone had sold into the rise yesterday it wouldn’t have even risen that much in the first place. Think we need to be confident on the direction of travel by looking at the fundamentals and in comparison to our peers. This could level out today and still finish up, who knows.
