Sure, there are some within Israel who would very much like to displace Palestinians bent on their inhalation, though i dont agree that backing the U.S in an inconsequential vote due to their reliance on U.S protection indicates support for the destruction of Ukraine.

It's beside the point really, i was commenting on the bizarre coalition between authoritarian religious wakjobs and the militant left in the West.

The implication that Israel therefore supports the slaughter of Ukrainians is absurd imo.

The Nazis slaughtered 6 million Jews - and the terrorists these people support would do the same and more given the chance!

The big bill is not the headline figure for hotels or immediate accommodation, medical care, food, heating, phones or whatever else.

As soon as those applications are processed, the cost goes onto social security / the welfare state - where it is hidden and can no longer be separately identified.

That bill is colossal, dwarfing the one associated with providing for the immediate needs of new arrivals waiting to be processed.

Imo, free speech is the right to criticise and offend.

This may sometime be uncomfortable, but is necessary for a transparent functioning democracy where power can be held to account.

Imo, illegal images have naff all to do with free speech, they are illegal.
