Hi Gary, Yes exactly...The Sp will probably fall by the 7p dividend anyways & the key with that old chestnut, the falling knife, is often to catch it just before it bounces offa the floor..at the moment of maximum despair! LoL I have put a double up Limit order (expiring tomorrow) in on #GMD at 120p to bring my avg down to 145p (138p with the Divi')...if it hits then fine if not then also fine! Nb: The Dividend Dates have since been amended to the following... Ex-Dividend Date = 31 December 2015 (previously 14 January 2016) Record Date = 4 January 2016 (previously 15 January 2016) So next week then for what is now 5.7% ...
