It's safe to say we have got this far with out a suspension so it's probably not going to happen. Big achievement in my eyes also am sure blackrock had something to do with it.
What that got to do with Poly
Am not one to correlate the war with investing however over the coming months I think we will see a Russia start to pull back and then retreat which will in turn skyrocket Polymetal. Expect to see the volume picking up now from institutional buyers.
It’s ludicrous to even consider poly as being a distressed seller even in these circumstances. I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of shareholders vote against selling the Russians assets unless it’s a juicy price. I think the war will be over before any Russian mine is sold.
Keep it polymetal related
Whatever happens, we should get some sort of mining royalty on top of any asset sold
Who cares the clever people here are in it for the long run
Splice why?
After reviewing some of the Russian assets. Some really are tier 1 assets there's no way they are just gonna to give them away. The KYZYL mine has a reserve of 9.8 Moz GE, 7.4 g/t average grade and is open pit which puts it in such a high class it would be very hard to put a price on it. Similar story with NEZHDA with a reserve 6.8 Moz GE at 3.8 g/t average grade unreal numbers and that's not taking Into account the resources estimates. There's a reason why people considered polymetal to be the most valued precious metal mining company in the world.
I think this will finish up in the green today

*potential
A key point to make that everyone has missed is that the kaz mines are largely unexplored past their current reserve estimate. The untapped upside partial for them is enormous.
Newcrest sold a Russian mine for 300m+
we will get around 1billion for all the Russian mines. Mark my words.
I would be happy with 1billion dollars for all the Russian mines can’t see folk offering more to be honest
Am sure it’s a question of sell the assets now or lose them alter
Am glad I have you o. Filter so I do t even know what you wrote
It might just work out for us if they sell the Russian assets they will have to give the proceeds to the shareholders. The only unfortunate thing will be reduced growth and reduced revenue. But it does show are serious management is when it comes to project shareholder value.
We won’t be getting dividend yet
