Paddyboy, I don’t disagree. I followed the advice on here, I bought in at 191, took profit at 250 and basically sold half of my holding and bought back at 231. I’ve continued doing that listening to the guys on here, so I’m a few grand up.
Defo risky with BP to do this, it can move up so quickly and you risk missing out. When it’s running let it run, it has a long way to go from here and with plenty of upside, even for those getting in now.
I think the majority of us here are in it long term, however, some people trade very successfully. Selling at 250, buy back at 231, sell again at 270 and then buying 262, 255 and 248.
Some clever people on here calling every high and low.
MF said to avoid BP when they were 188, I didn’t listen, in fact I’ve learned far more on this board about trading and investing than you’ll ever learn from those publications.
