I don't suppose anybody here uses IC for portfolio valuations?(derived from the FT I believe). My IC valuation for my Portfolio valuation is not reflecting today's increase against DKL, even though the price on their DKL stock page has the correct price. What use is a portfolio valn if it is not correct?
And apologies for all the typos. I had a case of premature fat thumb. I hope the gist is clear anyway.
Many thanks for taking the time to keep us informed. It sounds like wechave finally got all our ducjs in a row and I am optimistic thst we can continue tp progress frommhere
Can anyone confirm that our products result in plastics that are truly biodegradable, to such an extent they would pose NO threat to birds and fish in the wider ecosystem. You read and hear and see on TV that even very tiny plastic particles (so called micro beads in cosmetics, toothpaste etc) are a threat. Are we deluding ourselves in thinking that Symphony's procucts can truly "make a difference"? Are we in danger of "being found out"?
Approximately 850K of purchases suddenly pop up after 4pm? After a day of SP falling, one can't help suspect some dark arts! Of course I am probably being paranoid, but there again I am disillusioned by years of dealing in AIM shares. It seems that nowadays nearly all companies shares behave as though they were AIM. Strop over.
We have been brought down to earth in a series of jolts, both in SP and expectation (troublingtimes has been a contrary opinion to some (like me), who may have got over exuberant and actually paid considerably too much for recent tranches). I will sit tight and cross my fingers and hope that the company acts advisedly and does not bite off more than it can chew. We definitely need the ship steadying. The lack of directors' real skin in the game is a concern. They may be able to talk the talk, but lets see them walk the walk and show our faith (albeit slightly wavering) is not misplaced. Norpalm would appear to be too much of a risk at the moment, in my opinion, although we do not have all the facts to judge.
That company is no better than us. Overhyped, bottomless pits of wasted cash. Is there any graphene company in the world actually turning a profit? 96% of my "investment" here has just disappeared! I should have bought a car instead!
Last divi was Oct 2015
I never would have envisaged the extent of recent falls. A few months ago all was flourishing and now all is withering. The company has been highly selective in the news it put out until recently. At the moment we are in the hands of fate and can only hope. There is very little positivity in the air. A few more poor production or sales quarters and the SP will be miserable. As my biggest holding, probably twice what I shoukd have put in, this is beginning to skew my entire portfolio valuation.
Looks like we hardcore supporters got carried away. Today is a sharp reminder that this is a high risk enterprise. I now realise that my shareholding here is probably 3 times as much as what would be sensible. I really would like to average down, but my brain tells me I already have too many shares here. If we get a reasonable SP rally I think I will sell maybe 50% and take a loss. I should hate to get into one of those AIM downward spirals! Time to listen to the blues methinks. I wonder if Lincoln has any puff left to woo us further, or do we just cross our fingers and hope for the best? GLA
Flowery rhetoric but absolutely no grounds for optimism. I agree with you totally trade4ever. Should never have traded here!
Yes, by some lunatic buying less than 120s worth. That doesn't count!
Fair enough. I probably should have got out of Marston's. I made a decent profit on Revolution Bars a few months ago, but can't really see the sector doing much. It actually feels like a recession already and there are too many headwinds. I just hope the dividend holds up, fingers crossed.
It's like nearly every day the SP drops, newbie investors wonder what's going on, and sell in trepidation, only for the price to go up again at the end of the day. Really it is a bit underhand, even though it's commonplace everywhere. The Market Makers stimulate the market pro-actively. Really it is nothing to do with "supply and demand" Still, I should have got used to it by now, and yes I know, " if you can't stand the heat don't go near the fire". Still, it is very disingenuous what goes on. I have maybe 35 AIM shares and I guess it is par for the course.
