Re SP static (almost). Not many free shares about. Funds will only hold when a decent market starts in AVN. The big holders are waiting for corporate action, which might well come as soon as the story of reliable rising income arrives.
When it does take off it will be a fast riser, it will be too late for the little inverstor to get in then. Still off the top of the risk scale - BUT slowly, slowly...………....If the 4th quarter revenues come as predicted in RNS and a good start to first quarter next year then who knows how high it could go?
I have all that I can afford in this one, so no more topping up for me. Anybody buying just now?
Well
That last 50,000 was a buy, NOT a sell, cause I topped up again. Idiot or Inspired timing?
I do understand that these Buys/Sells are only indicative anyway and subject to error.
Looking at the graphs of volume and price, it seems that below around 4.50 p (ish) a spike in volumes occurs and the price rapidly rises.
There are many repeats of this behavoir, is there a stake build going on here? PI's get spooked by the lack of/dab news and sell out in the end. There are buliten boards and comments pages around which tell a similar story to that below?
Share price manipulation goes on all the time, why not with Avanti? Any way news very soon, good or bad, who knows, well a few do, but not us mainly.
Yes indeed Kpate14. I guess we should hear soon re the debt since September is/was deadline. I truly hope the Sales Force are earning their company cars and basic salaries. They can not hope to get any bonus' at this rate.
I had hoped that there were a load of deals waiting to be confirmed once 4 was ready, must be open for business by now.
I wonder if prospective customers are holding out for break even deals and the top man is not playing ball, price reductions, as we all know do not stop the customer from demanding top notch, so actually I agree with this strategy.
In the end a corporate event seems to be what the big investors are waiting for, they are holding, these piddling buys and sales are meaningless really. Market makers having fun I guess.
Interesting, testing of water going on here? Very soon I feel. Just wondering if I should do the big top up about now?
Some lucky people are going to retire on this one when it breaks I reckon.
Cut and paste from RNS :
"Furthermore, if the Restructuring completes but the Company is unable to raise Additional Funds of at least US$50 million and secure US$40 million infrequently recurring revenue in pipeline by 30 June 2018 then based on the projected cash flows of the Group, the Company will, within the 3 months following 30 June 2018, be highly likely to be unable to pay its creditors, as and when they fall due for payment. "
So from 30th June - Not deadline 30th June but 3 months from - so could go to September (I hope). We should either get a corporate action by then or be told that the long slow grind to success is possible. Are the Sales Force up to the challenge I wonder?
Agree, just now, except for the insiders on this board (who are keeping very quiet), that we have no idea other than the last April RNS and that an RNS is overdue.
The fat lady has not sung yet boys and girls. The brave are slowly loading up, these really low volumes indicate just how few shares are in circulation. The big boys are hanging in there, they know where this is going.
Enjoy the summer, it will rain and storm before end August, just as the situation with AVN will resolve one way or another.
Whatsoccuring - thanks. I am in at 46 p rather than sub 20p, so only 40 p to go. (not including the OO). I have toyed with further averaging down but have reached my risk level, so just going to sit back and see what happens. Anybody else care to share (just for interest).
Just to be clear, since I want this company to succeed, I would always back a call for money, if I felt half a chance of long term future, which I do. I will back the forthcoming Rights Issue as well, when it surely comes. Ok I mis-understood the documents, I did take a position though and read things at least twice, if there was more accurate interpretation on forums, I would hone my skills. I ain't done so badly, I can afford to loose the odd 800 quid here and there,, Totally I am in for some 9500 ish. I purchased my first tranche of AVN many years ago when it was recommended by my advisory service (long since dumped in favour of making my own mistakes), they did not achieve over the 22 years the same return as I have, they churned, pumped and dumped, familiar to some on here I bet. Ok I am not familiar with this end of the market but AVN saga will teach me. I STILL BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IN IT'S PRESENT FORM HAS A FUTURE. We shall see.
Also, when will we get up dated Sales figures, now that geo is OK, there must, must be people to sign up, who were waiting in the wings. Do you think that next week, so new data will be made available , anybody?
HeadITS, So back to the Idea that Solus have somebody to sell the shares to at some point once their client losses are mitigated? Can't see a rights issue working just now. Anybody offering further funds will want a heavy price, ie the HYLS4, or at least as surety on it, should the worst happen. The new man has lots of contacts, all this, as you say will have been agreed in private in principle perhaps? Next weeks RNS (s) will clarify a lot. Will we also get up to date ownership data, there were several large holders, over 50% not in PI hands, I wonder what things will look like ? Have a nice spring weekend you all..
The latest RNS suggests 0.17 m raised , so around 4.25 % of what was on offer. Did Solus apply for a massive number of extra shares mainly, so that they would mop up the over 90% that were not taken up in the OO. From the RNS it seems that they did not take up their entitlement, I guess by next week we will get another RNS clarifying, still confused by all this.
Well, as previous I did take up offer and rounded up with some additional, thinking that I was in for say 400 total, because the extras would be scaled back a lot. WRONG I WAS. Probably around 900 at stake here on the offer (currently at 50% loss of course). I completely mis-understood the documents, got hung up on the 1257.1% and 996.2% figures, thinking I would reduce my dilution by some 260%. Of course I see that most people did not take up the offer anyway, I guess since one could buy in open market at about half price. I did expect the SP to rise post launch significantly. I invented a mind set that The new shares would be issued at 11.25p (ish) after the effective value of my old ones was reduced by over 90% , so this was a better move than buying in market. Wrong on all accounts. To my question then: was it always intended that Solus would take up most of the OO? Do they have somebody in the wings to sell to at a profit a little later I wonder? Avanti is harder to understand than I thought and many here are right perhaps. However somebody is going to make a lot of money soon, probably though, not small PI's like myself. I can afford this loss if the share fails to get back to say 12p, I have made previous market purchases that today have moved positive, so just perhaps things might even out. Lesson 45 learned, don't invest if I do not FULLY and clearly understand the documents on RNS.
So... If agreement is reached and this often mentioned 40M arrives along with some sales, is it possible that a rights issue will follow? In part this might give a further lifeline, allowing more time for the sales to rise. Also where does HYLS3 come into all this? IIRR it was sent back to the factory, could this still be of use or perhaps a sale, must have some value surely? Anybody up on the latest news re HYLS3?
DoubleU A very good summary. I have read the documents and it seem that by taking up the offer instead of a 1200% odd haircut in the number of shares, one can get a 900% haircut. So - Because I am in quite deep for a private investor and have several holdings over the last six years, some so far under water , I have decided to vote in favour and take up the offers along with a few extras. Within 3 weeks the folly or otherwise of this will become clear. Regarding the share price slump at present, I feel this is trading, I expect to see the price rise close to deadline, the 12 p odd price had already got the 1200% haircut factored in I hope. All is on agreement, funding and sales, no pressure there then? Of course some kind of corporate action might well follow, leaving Pi's high and dry. I guess administration, then buying back assetts at knock down prices is even possible. Given the last list I saw of big investors I do not believe that is the intention. Whatever won't loose my house on this, although another painful experience if things go belly up, all monies have come from accumulated dividends and profitable sales. By August ALL will be clear. Have a nice summer.
Well, I do not understand the reaction, this was known surely? Anyway just topped up another 12500 shares, risk is very high, so it the reward. This is my bet that the customers will appear by June in nick of time and that 40m will turn up. As has been said they would not have signed up if not expecting success, OR,OR, of course some kind of corporate action. I would expect to see a recovery before 16:30 today. Of course I am easily wrong, but the successful launch and with every hope of swift deployment (seems well on way from latest reports, just the panels to open now) suggest otherwise. If the SP gets tp around 4.5p a further top up will be done. GL to all the small investors.
This company has had too much "BAD LUCK" I am starting to feel that other forces are at work here. Another delay after this one and things start to look serious. Hylas 3 seems no nearer launch either. Something does not smell right, any view on the possibility of skullduggery anybody?
Decided to follow suit and put a foot in the water, may come right, may crash. I will still have most of that leg left if that happens. I think the very brave can trade this and make an absolute fortune just now, we should see the number of trades rise, some big value ones too, over the next few weeks. I have put money where mouth is, not going to look again until the RNS saying stability has arrived. Done a similar thing with Carillion as well. Off to my shed to hibernate now.
Folks - In reality with the exception of RNS, nothing written here or any other social media site makes the slightest difference to how the shares will react - Unless it is insider information. That of course has been made illegal for the masses to do, only the city boys and girls are allowed. The idea of the smart phone era is to relieve the masses of their pent up frustrations and stop riots on the streets, now that we are such a crowded country and world. Just makes everybody feel they have had a fight without any blood being spilt (usually). So if it makes you feel better write away. Actually I have enjoyed recent exchanges, brightened up my boring life. Carry on. However FWIIW Note that Avanti shares are still trading this morning, guessing treading water awaiting some corporate news or a launch.
Good news, fuel bonus too. What is the situation re HYLAS3, anybody got an update on that yet?
So.......What does this mean for shareholders? Was DJW the person who resisted the takeover discussions or took the opposite view? Will this mean that we are now, in due course, a take over target or an agreed merge will follow? Or, is this simply the fact that DJW has stabilised the company and now is moving on to new challenges, knowing that the company is on course for a fantastic future with the new satellites up and running? A large shareholding in the company will secure him going forward financially if this is the right reason. Somebody must know something on here, please share.
