Unitisation is almost certainly going to take place but Petro China have said Petro Matad must first prove oil on their side of the border.

Iknowthis. Do the maths, check the presentations and videos. Why would they need to do another placing if they are producing? BlockXX wells and Velociraptor are only costing about $3m to drill - this is remarkably cheap and if the latter comes in there companies waiting in the wings to join in. But don't take my word for it, check this out for yourself, so that next time you make a comment you are better informed, instead of trying to clutch at negatives in the dark.
As for oil reserves being smaller, check out the fact please, the reserves for Heron have been increased!
Years before money flows you suggest. Use your brain or change your name to 'dunce' as this has been covered, along with the exact costs and timing. It is almost instant money and MATD will have an income within months.
The greatest negatives are the unforeseeable such as a meteor or WW3.

I believe Heron COS is 75% and Red Deer COS was over 40%.

Red Deer is a basin opening play, if that comes in thats worth a load plus a lot more.

Heron 25 MMBO circa 18p a share
Red Deer-1 48 MMBO circa 32p a share (plus loads of follow on leads)
Gazelle 13 MMBO circa 8.5p a share

Drill 4…depending on where it is, if Block V then its a biggie, 200p a share potential, if its Block XX again then maybe another 20p to 30p a share size drill.

Both Heron and Red Deer one due to be at TD at the same time, mid August.

Iknowthis. You have not paid attention to what the company has been saying. They can monetise any discovery very quickly as there is spare capacity at the refinery, there have said this repeatedly. They will be using Block XIX facilities and this has been set up already at a cost of $9/bbl!

Go and look at the presentations and listen to Mike Buck before making inept statements. Then check the cost of the drilling and you will find the cost of each well is remarkably cheap. I urge anyone else who can only make knee jerk statements to do their homework before making fools of themselves.
Velociraptor, Fox etc, if found to have oil will attract suitors who will want a piece of the action as the numbers are substantial. But don't rely on me, find all this out for yourselves, all the information is readily available. So no, £1 is not a joke.

If Velociraptor hits oil, and this is currently fourth on the drilling list, we can expect the sp to clear £1 with some margin to spare. I expect there will be quite a few instant millionaires on this thread alone.
