MarkA8178. You may have forgotten they are drilling Red Deer and should be into the first target around Friday! If Red Deer finds oil not many will be crying over Heron as RD is twice the size. Why do you think the buys are going in now? But sell if you wish, your choice.

So far 11,028,402 shares have been traded since yesterday - out of 662,160,000. That's a bit less than 2%!!! Not much is it?

Yes, agreed MarkA8178, we need some sort of reassurance from MB. He must have an idea how long this is going to carry on like this before being resolved and he could also give some assurance that all is well at Red Deer. Otherwise, his poor communications will only add to the pessimism of shareholders which is reflected in the share price.

Oversold for a company about the enter the target zone of Red Deer. This well, although not as high CoS as Heron
could be worth twice as much and change the company's fortunes completely.

Wait a bit longer? Check out the presentation on the website and take a look at Red Deer's target zones. If all is on track we should hit the first very soon, a week at tops.

Even with a problem at Heron I am expecting the sp to rise considerably with an oil discovery at Red Deer. Between 20p and 30p sounds about right to me. A lot of people seem to have forgotten we are chasing 48mmbo with a higher than average CoS and the drill is turning as we speak.
This is a shallow and therefore relatively cheap drill with three target zones. I reckon the first of these targets will be reached this time next week, possibly a day or so earlier. Watch out for a sudden buying spree next Monday onward if there is oil in target one. Target two, few days later and then the final target another few days after that.
I am putting Heron aside for the moment and waiting for a good entry price to top up - so please have a selling panic, spread silly rumours of a placing even though the company has plenty of cash. Some here are going to look quite stupid when we do what Eco have just done.

I think we will get an RNS this week as well CS. By the way, Gazelle falls under the same local government so we are left with Red Deer. But let's not forget this problem has arisen due to a lack of government diligence and being unaware of the importance of this is a sharp learning curve for PM.
I cannot see PM need extra money so any posts regarding placings etc show a lack of knowledge of the company's present finances. Even a month's hold up would not be too damaging as they are saving a few million $ by not attempting to drill Fox.
Panic if you wish by my opinion is that the required permission will be granted very soon. All in my opinion only, of course.

I agree WildOne1, they need to steady the ship and put everyone in the picture honestly. Keeping shtum is not a good idea. Is Gazelle still in the picture or is that also affected by this local government snare, anyone know?

Good luck my friend. I think the company may need to give an informative RNS to let investors know what is happening, if anything, as the uncertainty over Heron is likely to make the sp fall. On the other hand, if they can give some sort of reassurance the sp is likely to rise.

cl. There is still Red Deer! Besides, they are most likely to get Heron drilling again once the signatories have put pen to paper.

Yes, cl, the problems at Heron are far less complicated.

It seems PetroChina had some problems last year. Of course, PM may have a different problem but it does show one has to walk on eggshells in Mongolia.
