What was discouraging about Legalwolf's post,? The market wants a commercial discovery as he said, and we do too, all of us I hope! So come on, let's stop nit-picking and wait for the result, which I hope will be what we all want.

I think we will get the TD RNS and then probably have a 2 week wait. We have seen this is a leaky ship as per last Friday's rise so I am sure there will be those in the know who will be telling their chums and the sp will react accordingly.

So if we hear Baker Hughes are using the RCI, this measures reservoir behaviour during production, I guess we have succeeded. But how much will we be told?

I am no expert but they will be/are mudlogging as they drill and hopefully this will monitor 'plenty' of helium shows. Then the portable mass spectrometer will measure and validate these helium show. Once TD is reached the wireline logging will take place. Of course, there may be nothing but that is not what is expected, and so the samples will then be sent to a lab for analysis for 100% validation. That's my take on it and full results are likely during the first week of November. I could be wrong.

I am thinking we are likely to get proof of a discovery from the 30th October through the first week of November. I'm not sure we will be told of any helium shows until they are certain - either way. No point in getting people's hopes up although 'leaks' are always possible and we could get a few squeaky voices with those!

Waiting is a bit frustrating but I am sure we will hear news soon, who knows there could be an RNS tomorrow or Monday.

Yes, rog9, I had presumed those blue dots on the presentation map (page 7) of TAI-1 A were targets where the helium shows were found but I must be wrong as they are nearly at TD and haven't reached any targets yet. TAI-C seems shallower and appears to reach TD before a couple of the lower shows. Perhaps this is just poor mapping. I think they must be somewhere just above the top Karoo.

I think you may be mistaken skittish, we have been told work has been progressing at Itumbula-1 for some time now. It never stopped as far as I know, access had to be established first. The wording is, 'Civils work continuing on the Itumbula-C well pad…' That endorses the fact the work has been ongoing for some time and is still continuing.

Good post Skippysb01. Too many here with fertile imaginations running wild and absolutely no knowledge of drilling. I am sure we will be kept up to date but any helium waiting to be discovered hasn't escaped, it's been there eons so a couple of weeks more will make no difference.

The rig is not old and Epiroc are everywhere, one of the most popular rig manufacturers with customers centres in 60 countries. There is an outlet in Mwanza and one at Dar es Salaam so the infrastructure is there for importing spares.

Why not start another thread called, 'moaners, groaners, backbiters, retaliators, complainers and wafflers', and keep this thread to comments about Helium One Global? That way I won't have to trawl through so much utter garbage in the short periods of time I have to check in here to see if there is anything new going on with the company.
