In 2010. With barely enough money to buy 100k I bought into RKH as the sp sank below 30p as discoveries in the Falklands became illusive. Then joy of joy, before any announcement the sp began to rise on the 10th May, a few pence at a time every few minutes. I remember checking my share account and seeing I was up £90,000 and still rising. I sold at £3.80p later on.

In Borders we have a massive discovery but need a farm in partner who wants to make big money but also has the expertise to work with us. Some of us will become millionaires if this is pulled off.

By the way, in the late nineties I used to chat to Colin Phipps ( DES CEO) who lived near Malvern and remember him pinpointing a spot in Argos' acreage that he said was a dead certainty for oil. Argos never drilled and the acreage now belongs to JHI Associates and I reckon they are sitting on a fortune.

That's for another day, BOR are likely to be pumping 25,000 - 30,0000 barrels a day with farm in partner. My target is £1 and that is just on Darwin.

It's good to see the sp move up without spiking. I think some may need to remember we are looking for a good deal with a farm in partner and not the first to come along as we have a first class discovery to take advantage of.

For anyone new here I would suggest they watch this presentation video to find out what we have got here, Darwin is huge, similar to the distance from Heathrow to Hyde Park Corner! Holders may wish to revisit.

'This is massively good news from Rockhopper who have taken advantage of very strong share price performance (1M +45%, 6M +105%, 12M +366%) to delve into the market and raise $140m at a time when operator Navitas are making noises about FID. I can't even see RKH sp going down to placing level as this is a positive step towards drilling.

For once, a fund raise is very good news. I shows FID is on the way and they are progressing towards first oil with with their full share of money in the bank.

This has only happened because they are 100% certain of FID which is excellent news.

Yes, weak holders have sold along with profit takers and now it is going back up.
