Right now he is "Thee Man" of the moment and markets a waiting on his words... personally I reckon off the the back of the good CPI announcement yesterday, he'll be positive but will also outlay cautiousness for next few months, (he has to tbh).

Either way Markets want this out of the way.. so normality can resume! (to some degree).

@Scallop, Jerome Powell... after his announcement he'll give a speech on where he thinks inflation/economy is going.

Waiting for fed decision later...expecting 0.5%, if so Market already pricing this in... and then the mans forecast after announcement to see where it's going. 0.75% and market will not be happy.

I also believe Jan update will paint a rosier picture than last Jan.

Islandmagee Energy Judicial Review Update



Harland & Wolff Group Holdings plc (AIM: HARL), the UK quoted company focused on strategic infrastructure projects and physical asset lifecycle management, provides an update on the Islandmagee Gas Storage Project Judicial Review (JR).

Following a recent review of the case, the parties have agreed to vacate the hearing dates of 16-20th January 2023.

The new hearing is now listed for four days commencing 2 May 2023. Further updates will be made available in due course.

Harland & Wolff, group CEO John Wood, commented:

"Whilst it is disappointing that this has been delayed, we now have access to the majority of the submissions made and we remain confident that we will see a successful outcome to this review when it is undertaken in May.

As the UK continues to struggle to maintain adequate gas supplies in the UK there has never been a better time for this project to be developed."

Not boasting mate, just giving some perspective from my point against your. Could've also gone the other way if CPI wasn't what I was expecting.. and we could've ended in the 400's especially as shorts would've played on it...now they're a lil f**ked tbh.. nothing makes me happier to see a short position get f**ked

Well mate... means £4G's+ for me for half a days work...so not complaining as I hedged everything on a lower CPI, and it was a good call!

I reckon we get US CPI out the way, then FED & BOE and markets already pricing in and we see recovery!

Negativity in some cases shouldn't be frowned upon.. for instances where such posts reveals facts about a company that could/have been overlooked.. Mostly in the case of finances or past history that other investors should be made aware of.

Straight pure negative posts without any facts and repeatedly posted have a clear short agenda, or an agenda for other purposes, and yes they're rampant all over the site and BB's. They normally attract the inexperienced investors. I try not to engage them as this can get messy, and tbh, that's what they're looking to start, a scare fray.

Most of us know this and to them I'm sure this is an obvious statement, but it's more for the ears of the noobs to understand and read facts over hearsay.

Some inference on my behalf, been invested for quite a few years now. First started with VAL and there was many a repertoire between both boards at the time. I decided to buy SCLP back then as well as the science was sound, although become much more complicated since...regardless, still sound, in fact even more-so now! Inanaco was the main reason I left, he did everyones head in at the time. I still don't really post much here and just read very informative posts from people much more knowledgeable than myself. The bb is less cluttered now and much better for it IMO.

Cancer was not prevalent in my life until my mother unfortunately was diagnosed of it ten plus years ago.. She was in remission until this horrible disease struck back with a vengeance in Dec 2020 and we lost her in March 2021. No family history of this disease so it just shows it can really strike anyone at any time, which, tbh, is even more scary!

Steps for a cure of all Cancer related illnesses start with innovative companies such as Scancell, for sure! One day I hope it will be perceived to be as easy to deal with as the common cold today.

IMO working towards Jan Trading statement I think they'll be very positive, and considerably up on 2022 Jan update. Things they are a changing for the better and the big boys know this and are taking up their positions. Shorters know this also and will reduce coming into a good shopping season. Inflation is priced in already and people have had months to have this sink in and adjust/save accordingly for Xmas spree and beyond.

@Clairesmith, wow that's a crazy strategy, but good luck to you! I picked up a few yesterday and much more today.. drop is crazy but prob due to shorts which will ease up especially as we're fast approaching best season of the year for a brand much more affordable than many other high street brands.
