Couldt agree more; under promise and over deliver is what markets like together with stability /predictability. PMO 's re-iterance on paying down debt asap eg by selling assets now that wont come on stream for years ahead (Zama) has provided that reassurance and comfort, and re-risked the business. We will get a re-rate soon on the back of this , IMO

6 m sold vs 2 m bought and yet SP rose from a price more than 2% down at opening to finish in positive territory. Quite remarkable and suggests strong market sentiment for PMO. GLA.

Just seems odd that given the recent momentum in SP and the emphasis on returning shareholder value in the strategy ( at last in the short term ) , why would you sell 2 chunks of 1m shares ?

Yes, quite extraordinary considering the fall in poo today. At one point in the past, PMO would have dropped like a stone.

It does make you think that the fundamentals about PMO have now been recognised in the market, and that the PMO SP will respond accordingly as soon as POO recovers .

There have been quite a few "false dawns" regarding the recovery of PMO's SP. This time, though, I really do feel the strategy is bang on and it will get delivered, ie rapid debt reduction and reducing risk, whilst steadily improving EBIT. Then we look forward to the refinancing and all being well the restoration of Divi. when the current lenders' restrictions are lifted. Only one way from here. Bring on 2020 !

PMO reports in sterling but receives revenues in $, so all good then. Even more reasons to be cheerful. ;-)

P/e ratios : PMO 5.6 vs TLW : 44.6. PMO so much undervalued at this SP comparatively speaking even without the ZAMA news , that only puts the icing on the cake !

Only one way now the strategy is sorted and that's UP. Debt down above all else and return value to shareholders. And, if trade talks complete with a good outcome, then BINGO.
