if it doesn't come this week, there's only one thing left, that little bird can say Friday, that will have any credibility, and that is, tweet tweet, tweet tweet, tweet tweet : )
Tarry, " if Caroil-6 was available and could be hired/bought for a song presumably it would be feasible to have upgraded the rig (new top-drive etc) between the binding agreement with Zubair Corp in July and now? "
I really don't know about possible upgrade, but I do know it wasn't the Caroil-6 rig that was used but the Caroil-2 rig.
"Aminex is pleased to announce that it has executed a rig contract for the drilling of the Ntorya-2 appraisal well in the Ruvuma basin. The Caroil 2 drilling rig is currently on the Ntorya 1 well pad and preparations are underway to mobilize the rig and equipment to the Ntorya 2 pad, which is 1500m away. (The contract is for one firm well with an option for a second well.)"
"F's sake how many time do I have to explain? I would have managed the assets differently so they didn't need to rely on cornerstone investor in first place looking to have farmed out significantly earlie"
Dunder, are you for real, have you forgot, the company had been trying to f/o since NT-1 gas discovery, with-out success. it wasn't until after JB came on-board and seismic was shot over Ntorya/Ruvuma which reviled the nt-2 target that brought about the F/O interest BLVN/Zubair
I suppose the other thing, the work commitments and drilling obligations of the Mtwara -PSA extension would had primarily been negotiated with the operator, Zubairs ? its like it's being held in abeyance until ratified by the F/O EGM ?
surely they can't issue the Mtwara PSA extension, with (ARA Petroleum Tanzania) as operator with 50% interest and Aminex 25% Solo 25%, until after ratified at EGM ?
