SDX Energy Plc (AIM: SDX), the EMEA-focused energy company, is pleased to announce the spudding of the SAK-1 exploration well on the 6 August 2022 at the Lalla Mimouna Sud concession, Morocco (SDX WI: 75%). SAK-1, is targeting the Guebbas Formation reservoir at around 1,108m MD (1,095m TVDSS). The well will also complete the remaining commitment on the Lalla Mimouna Sud Concession.

 
Right, although not unexpected, the Rns this morning was not the best start to the day(another 5 figure sum wiped off my holding) ...at least now we are fully funded for Mou2 ...both drill and test....all we await now is firm dates for drilling/testing..then the really anxious time awaits...

Good evening Redbox, I congratulate you sir on your foray into Revb, and your subsequent gains, also on your apology to the Bb, let's hope you continue your good fortune in the future.On a personal note, I was expecting an update on sdx (bb) saying their first drill had completed, and moving on to second one.so we (Prd) can get some inkling of timescale...but I can wait, anyhow, enjoy your weekend...that's everyone, not just Redbox.

Right, I noticed on twitter earlier on that everyone's favourite wind up merchant/general faeces stirrer has been bad mouthing Lonny....person in question has the initials TW....I guess everyone knows who he is?...have sent Lonny a tweet with the article attached in case he wasn't aware...and no I did not pay to read said article..but will add a link in next post if anyone wishes to add funds to this person's account.

Good evening everyone, just been rereading Lonny's tweets from earlier today...I know he tends to tweet sometimes cryptically ...sometimes with spelling mistakes( very busy man so can't blame him for that) but still like this one ...

Vaguely important bit I noted was last sentence...

My capitals....so they hopefully may not be just talking about it? Bearing in mind Paul was in Ireland and Lonny I assume was in Morocco, unless he just got sent the photos of mou4 site....but thought both would have been in Guercif it is vaguely important at moment,just my musings but gives people something to think about.

Good afternoon everyone, just a little observation....
Testing is allowed for in our budget..(mou1) civil works are sorted for mou4/mou5...but going by March rns, it is supposed to be Mou5 drilled first ....before Mou4...don't shoot the messenger I can only go by Rns..

MOU-5 is now being prioritised ahead of MOU-4 for the first well in the drilling programme. Following desk-top modelling of seismic response to gas in MOU-1, two shallower gas targets additional to the primary "MOU-4 Fan" appraisal target have been identified at the MOU-5 well location. The shallowest of these targets had strong formation gas shows in MOU-1 (dry gas) and was penetrated in MSD-1 where good quality reservoir was logged....

And yes I do know we intend to drill back to back, just wondering why Mou4 site is undergoing civil works first...
Anyway, nice to know we got boots on the ground so to speak, and a nice bit of spray paint for well site to show for our investments :)

Good afternoon everyone...quiet day on bb and Grand prix practice sessions are now on afternoon break (more of a gentle trundle really )so done a little bit of reading (again) of annual report...
I honestly can't remember the % figures and porosity being reported as being this high ...

"Post-well reservoir characterisation by Houston-based NuTech interpreted a gross TGB-2 interval between 1,226.5
and 1,300 metres TVD MD with 12 metres of net potential gas pay, with a maximum porosity of 29% in one sand and a corresponding maximum gas saturation of 70%. Five separate zones within this interval have been selected for
perforating during rigless testing in 2022."

The Company has appointed SLR Consulting Ireland Ltd. to update the Company's Moroccan CPR and it is likely its gas resources attributed to the MOU-1 drilling target will be re-categorised as Contingent Resources pending development from the pre-drill status of Prospective Resources. Re-categorising the gas resources will potentially assist with a partial sale of equity in the discovered gas to fund a pilot CNG development.

Key words are

Sorry had minor emergency so finished message a bit quick, not a serious one I hasten to add.
Right...Mou1 testing, I understood/thought that testing could take a month? Flow rates etc....can't see rig crew being kept in Guercif for a month twiddling thumbs, playing scrabble etc whilst waiting for results(Mou1) so in meantime would they be setting up in Mou5 well pad...in readiness for mou1 success or would that be counting chickens etc....
Thoughts anyone?

This is my take on testing... Mou1 test.. then go for mou 5. Mou4, mou ne..
Mainly due to wording in Rns 12/May/2022..
Copy pasted from Prd Rns.

"Rigless testing of MOU-1 will be aligned with the presence of in-country drilling services, materials and equipment mobilised from overseas for the start of the 2022 drilling programme. It will be carried out cost-effectively in conjunction with the testing in a success case of up to 3 wells."

Second sentence is the important one.. "in a success case"
Can only go by what Prd put out in Rns so that's my take on it.

From 8th April until a few minutes ago, we have dropped approximately 43.9%....the way it's going it could look like Lonny's share options at 5.9 may be expensive come July 29th :(

I know it's nit picking, but have learned to read every word of any Rns for any ambiguous wording...
As matter of interest, still got a lot of trust in Pg, Lonny ...still holding a great deal (to me) of shares.

Hiya Zeusvalhallah, everyone....as usual have been reading the bb....lot of unrest re comms/info...how much longer is silence going to go on? Still have my considerable (to me ) holding, but lack of info re website (seriously out of date) and occasional Lonny tweets are not doing anything for company or my wellbeing(financially) at moment...have we (Prd) met any of our published timescale objectives this year....
