Brian
pretty standard stuff
They did have a few days to prepare whilst waiting for the rig.
Logistics and layout for drilling equipment and storage
is my day job .
Clean up and flow
Will Shut the gobsh!!!es up
Peaky
Would let them bother you buddy
What a fantastic webinar that was.
Installed so much confidence in my investment.
Obviously SP isn’t reflecting that at the moment but going
forward in the longer term it’s amazing.
Worked for SLB in the past and that endorsement is priceless
Poor Mike Duncan gets the brunt of criticism but I believe him
to be top notch
Hold tight and things will pay off big time IMHO
Sailplane
To add tho.
In the last webinar (1hr17mins) in Mikes slide it does actually say ‘just 150bpd but he also states at the current oil price
they would be happy with much less.
I revisit these webinars instead of just RNS because you can gauge real expectations.
But it is looking good regardless of the naysayers.
IMHO
Yes I agree
It’s worth a look at an old webinar at 58m in

Access gas *
100-150bpd modelling *
Think we have unknowingly raised the bar unfortunately regarding
*Re-injected access gas for carbon capture and zero emissions at full production stage. Obviously via a secondary well but doesn’t have to be horizontal, so no great shakes.
All good at Alkaid 2
IMHO
Jay does look likes he’s been tangoed.
But wouldn’t you?
Things haven’t gone to plan but they’ve dodged a bullet
with the mothballed rig in my professional experience.
Would have been thwart with issues and at x10 the cost
The CTU was last resort and got things moving at least.
I’ve watched it twice and it’s so positive , although slight delay.
No money issues
Farm in interests
Workover rig in 10 days
Results will improve
Bosh!!!
To add
10+ years ago north sea oil had a short shelf life
But due to advances in technologies, desire/ capability to
drill deeper in thicker oil and new technology it’s reborn . Not just North Sea but in normally unreachable places.
Kept me in pocket money for a bit longer
Great bear team are collectively pushing out new/old techniques in Alaska to get the oil out. It’s f’in fantastic
what they are doing. Snags always happen and is part and parcel of the industry. Big companies, I normally work for,
it doesn’t even get a mention because they have deep pockets and don’t have shareholders breathing down there necks.
Coulda woulda shoulda was an early farmout before this drill
But hey
We are here and I’m pleased so far ‘with the drill’
Could have been worse :-)
Feckin SP but wasn’t going sell anyways
Those are my thoughts
I’m learning also about ‘the oil and completions’
But I know about the drilling/oil industry, in fact I don’t know much else :-)
Trust those experts not the folk that pop up on here with a poison chalice. Relax and long the outcome.
We are drilling with new technology to get to oil thought
to be inaccessible in the past .
Panr are doing something quite special and will succeed as long as oil stays high.
IMO
This is like “I’m a celebrity cyclone”
But alas they always win and feast on a 4 course meal
GLA .

Try again
Yes I’m used to skidding drill floors . In fact that’s all I’m used to apart from drill ships in the ‘drilling sector’
12+ wells 2.4m apart
Real estate is key on a offshore rigs hence the key scheduling of space management on pipe decks etc
Time being key for loading and unloading
Work with completions for requirements after drilling to manage that
That obviously doesn’t apply to a gravel pad
and this situation of course as space is already taken by production equipment and storage.
So they obviously must increase the pad size
3stand
Im interested in the 4 wells on this pad you mentioned ? This pad is a production pad also so I’m guessing the size of the pad would have to increase substantially to fit another rig on it with the drilling support module on it and the same time keep the production going with a supply to TAPs using Worley
tankers etc
Thanks
But to be honest I know more than most but I won’t pretend to know much about completions.
I’ve worked on offshore drilling platforms around the world and meet up with ‘the likes’ of energy Hobbs and Olderwiser to discuss what they need to complete a process, timescales, personnel, risk, ergonomics and space requirements.
Bpd , gas content etc etc are something I get from the experts
Like everyone else . They are wise f’in folk, so equally if they said this was **** , I would believe it. But they haven’t
I’ve worked with Schlumberger and Baker Hughes (also Halliburton ironically) and they wouldn’t endorse a project without due diligence.

Anyways I’m hoping a farm out soon and let the bigger outfits, sort it out. It’s what Bob says in the webinar from April (1 ¼ hour in approx in the Q&A)
“Encouragingly, despite the blockage, the well is flowing naturally into Pantheon's recently commissioned permanent production facilities”
&
“We are deliberately using a conservative approach in flow testing of not 'pulling on the reservoir' too hard, allowing the natural healing of the fractures to minimise future sand flow”
I’m guessing originally concept was to reach the desired flow rate only to get the blockage. Hence this reduced approach
today so they don’t disturb the sand that’s blocked in the remaining 1000ft. That’s good for now……
Unblock the 1000ft and get the desire flow rate.
Next well learn from the mistakes of this one. “Easy peasy” :-)

Was checking out the webinar from April
Go just before 1 hour in and you can see the modelling for
Alkaid 2 . Mike Duncan says lots of gas and what they intend to do with it.
100-150bpd
https://twitter.com/energyhobbs/status/1608775351567798274?s=46&t=4QfBmVmKRnPxCkxvvtubtA
I’ve worked in the oil industry (mostly drilling) for 30 years (still counting )and I follow guys with knowledge of “”@@completions@@ and he’s one.
Olderwiser seems to be another.
I’m not happy with drop in my portfolio but happy with Alkaid 2 and I’m convinced this will be successful. Scoff all you want
but saying how I’m thinking.
Coulda shoulda woulda ‘it’s done’
AIMO.
Now to party …….happy new year
