What we have to remember is the bod has brought in firms to deal with the sale
So its these firms negotiating the best deal and one that will leave tcg the chance
To recover and go forward the complexity of these deals will involve planning
And some complex deals if multiple firms are bidding for parts so it will take time
This will lead to uncertainty/ speculation some will say bad some good , we will all have to wait I believe so will rise then it's up to the bod to continue momentum

It's good business sense if you buy an airline you have a constant flow of bums on seats as they say plus your own customers so right from the off you can fill all the seats from day 1

I do believe selling the slot / airline will achieve a good price , in doing so pushing sp to 30p - 40p from there once the dust settles it's up to the board to use the opportunity to push Thomas cook forward if they choose the right direction the sp will increase in time but if they fail with this new chapter in their history they will fail futher down the line but have no slots or airline to save them
So initial they can recover the rest is up to them

Interesting reading about the slots , dug around a little
6 years ago flybe sold 25 slots at gatwick for 20 million , now taking in inflation
Thomas cook has 200 plus ......... I put that at 160 million
Manchester and all the others will be a huge amount of money yes some slots will be cheaper than others but the markets estimates are bang on
I wouldn't like to be the one sorting this sale out but selling the slots in my opinion
Will give them all the cash they want clear debt / invest

Like we know they hold alot of prime slots these coming up is like xmas come early for airlines they can not afford to miss this opportunity
