RE: Vanadium1 Sep 2021 15:43
Hi Faramog,
Got to address your last comment first I'm afraid. No-one has invested in everything that's on their watch-lists - mine is ever expanding, some never to be invested in along with some occasional repeat offenders.
Now, I want to thank you for the courteous reply. I did look through the more recent RNS's and found no figures other than volumes mined/sold. This was one thing that prompted my questioning. Completely agree with the covid piece and I suspect their have been other one-off costs also. In regards to the fixed element of the costs I agree completely that as volume produced goes up the AISC will come down.
Is there such a thing as a break-even price of vanadium? I'm sure there is but couldn't fairly speculate what that might be.
You have helped me massively with the current vanadium price IF it is currently in the $40-$42 range. Would you by any chance have a link to a live price? I recall trying to look at this before and being utterly flummoxed by the different prices quoted - what ore should I be looking at, which country even.
Whilst I write this I have found metal bulletin.com - any good?
Do you have any info regarding brokers notes? I will look at the electrolyte sales - is that mentioned in a recent RNS? Don't answer that one, I will take a look.
Thank you for a genuinely honest (and not too defensive) reply - I'm sure everyone here wants new investors to lift the price of course.
If Vanadium is indeed at these levels it surely must only be a matter of time before confidence comes back to this stock. I'm tempted I must admit.
Thanks again,
Matt
