RE: Getting the service you pay for.9 Jun 2025 07:53
I was with VM for years and it was the flakiest mess of connectivity. It was only whilst working from home during covid did I realise just how bad. Video calls dropping, distorted voice and video. And then when I called Virgin Media, they told me, when I eventually managed to speak to someone, everything was fine. My Virgin Media broadband I'd compare to using WiFi on a train - painfully poor experience. Joined BT and my broadband has been immense. So good, reliable - never an issue. Recently my grandmother joined BT at my recommendation and her experience (communication, kit, connection, billing) have all been a dream. Which is great as she was reluctant to move and any minor hiccup would have been a big deal for her. I'm sure others have different experiences but mine with BT has been 10/10.
