Looking at Lloyds share price...24 Apr 2026 09:44
... and direction, one would have assumed real holders here, would have more pressing issues than Nuclear war to discuss.
The BoE have stated that shares are over priced, helping our demise, despite no doubt being true. President Trump is going to understandably punish those who refused to aid the US, and almost certainly impose larger tariffs on us greater than what we gain from due to digital tariffs we impose on them.
Inflation will ruin the weak UK economy slowly but surely, businesses struggling now, will suffer, unemployment will grow, less paying in taxes, more taking out benefits of our own, let along boat loads arriving daily to add greatly to our stealth taxes to fund them with everything as they arrive as do their numerous offspring with nothing.
Whilst Lloyds et al scrape the barrel by using 'dead accounts' cash to fund homeless, such amounts are tiny compared to the truly 'never ending' number of arrivals which will all eventually be living in a very costly to build building, which we will all be funding, and, even IF charity funds some, then that charity money is diverted away from other needy causes to fund such, most of whom have not legal right to be here.
Only people like President Trump's illegal issues bother some it seems.
So with the UK to face all the above and more, then Lloyds dividend yield being lower than investors can get without risk of capital reduction, should they buy in now, makes one wonder who is buying apart from the buyback machine. Best stick a turbo on it to raise the demand as people dump stock which is closely linked to the UK's near future.
Wait until the feral youth can 'use' high unemployment as the reason they steal, shoplift, and eventually riot, as all the time there was full employment should you 'want' work, they could not, but come the massive slump, electrical stores and trainers shops will become very popular as they unwillingly have 'self service' for certain members of society to vent their worry of not being able to find a job all too soon.
Labour doing what it does best, funding the lowest denominator by sapping wealth from anything and everything which did make ends meet, until that fails too.
Yet you can be sure the Gov members will all have investments, homes and means to avoid what they create here and what they dump on the British people.
Still don't let domestic, relevant issues worry you, when the unlikely danger of nuclear war, which like Covid, effects all, so the leaders and elite will do all they can to prevent such ever happening, as for ONCE, their money, and status won't prevent 'them' getting harmed, and 'THAT' really is all they care about, themselves.
