Effectively govt saying keep RMD so they can fund the shortfall on all the loss making contracts we will keep screwing you with.

RMD has no reliance on govt contracts so should have no bearing on FM contracts.

Feilb was correct then as issuing 1bn new shares would give them 90% of the company. Interesting to see what happens or if the company will be taken private. Good to see the “turnaround queen” has restored share holder value.

Anyone think this will pick up some lost ground? This has fall way too much imo and should be at £2 at least.

Feilb- if you are saying the RI has been delay until the sp is higher, what price do you think the RI will occur. If billions of shares are issued then the SP will be depressed already and issuing anymore will just dilute it anymore.

The example you gave of Kier is probably a bad example since their RI share was already £4, so needed a minimum number of shares. Look at Capita their sheer price was in £3s when the announced the right issue and then crashed to around £1.9 when the RI was announced. Today the SP sits Lower than it did when the dilution was announced, but this is purely down to the fact the RI was too heavily discounted and let to an insane number of shares being issued.
It’s the same story here until we know what price has been agreed this week, I would say the dilution is still not fully factored in, so pbody has a point.

Feilb- it would make sense but I can’t see the share price rising if they issue 3bn shares at 10p to wipe out 300m debt. Unless of course they have made a deal with the lenders to issue just 300 million shares knowing the market cap of IRV will be around 320m. That way lenders have 66% of the company and profits and share price hits around £1, which then is a comfortable figure to start a RI. This is unlikely to happen though and I’m disappointed they have kep RMD, but I guess it’s all to do with bonuses.

Announcement due this week, no RI at the moment ashas been stated.

Feileb- so your post the other day stating current shareholders would get a good deal in the RI was just a guess rather than based on any factual information. Nothing wrong with that but you need to state that. The way you worded your post suggested it was based on factual machine.

Thanks Feilb. Will there be an actual rights issue i.e you get x amount of shares at a discounted price for every x amount your hold? I thought existing shareholders would have to buy just like new investors. Hope you’re correct.

Anyone notice the 14m shares warrants issues on 2nd of January? No doub the vultures are keen to get their wipeout deal through. Once these shares are on the market, this will push the so lower.

Failed- that’s the main problem as from what I’ve heard DW does not want to hand RMD over. Even if it is I don’t think there will be any debt reduction, as from the RNS it appears it will only be placed in a separate holding company owned by the lenders, but still owned by IRV. Very vague wording
