Inner harmony- thanks. What my point was if you subscribe to buy shares and they are given at the d4E price of 8p a share, but in the meantime the company had hit its targets and have recovered to 15p a share, then it’s worth subscribing too. Are they sold at market price??

Thanks Feilb-my average is £2 so way off the current share price. I might cut my losses at some point and invest elsewhere as I don’t think this will ever hit £1-2 again as it will give it a market cap in the billions. Even in the “good times” the max it hit was 1bn.

But what if shareholders don’t want to participate. The number of shares in issue is far too great for a normal pi like myself to participate, and I won’t receive anything for any rights I choose not to take up. How is this giving an ordinary shareholder a chance?

I found my answer, these shares cannot be sold like a RI. That throws any hope out the window then.

How to does the open offer work? Can you not sell your shares on the market like a RI?

6bn new shares?

Well it’s been an interesting morning. I must admit I was expecting this to be around 6p after reading the RNS, but does not appear to be the case. Do we know how many new shares will be issued? And I’m assuming all of it will be available to buy back for existing shareholders as a RI.

Meta- haha yes he's just had a sex change. Tbh DW has lied through her nose too. She's also changed the EFW 3 times as well as all the talk about shareholder value.

You maybe right about the RI to pay the fine, but as the banks will own most the equity, guess who'll be stumping up 90% of the fine ??????????

Feilb- thanks that didn't last long then. It looks like the lenders ar relunctant to take equity in these businesses and also being careful around the unsolved FCA and EFW issues. Do they really want alot of equity in IRV. Answer is no hence why the wanted RMD.

Can't wait for the announcement as i'm fedup with this constant uncertainty.

Meta- im referring to the original period under investigstion which is august 16- feburary 17 when we bought the shares at £3-4. They were definently misleading.

It will be for the "new owners" to worry about where this miney comes from, as surely they are going into this with their eyes wide open. They know there is a possible fine coming their way and 3 unfinished EFW plants.

Feilb- possibly but the lenders hold the cards now. The BOD were given the chance with the refinancing to deliver what they said they would do, bit have failed in every aspect.

I look forward to the FCA finding IRV guilty of market abuse and force them to reimburse shareholders.

One final point from me for today is i can't understand they wabt will write off 300m debt for a 90% stake. There will still be a 500m debt but the lenders will own the company, so you might aswell right the whole lot off.

Oh well it is what it is. Looks kikes its game over on this share.
