It appears that a transfer of listing is also an option according to the NASDAQ website. From the listing document this would appear to take only 6 weeks.

I see a potential problem:

"Compensation of Executive Officers
The company is required to have a compensation committee
consisting solely of independent directors and having at least
two members. In addition, Rule 5605(d)(2)(A) includes an
additional independence test for compensation committee
members. The compensation committee must determine, or
recommend to the full board for determination, the
compensation of the chief executive officer and all other
executive officers.

Now. Some on here have commented on what appears to be the excessive salaries of some of the Argo staff (certainly for previous years). Could it be that they don't want a NASDAQ listing because they want to avoid the compensation committee? Questions on a postcard sent to Peter Wall.

Come on then. I will bite the bullet and do my own research on a US listing. RIOT are listed on the NASDAQ so i will look at them. Straight off the bat there appears to be three tiers: Nasdaq Global Select Market; Nasdaq Select Market; Nasdaq Capital Market.

I'm going to work on the assumption that we will list on the Nasdaq Capital Market as we currently fulfill the financial and liquidity requirements to do so. We would need a share price of $4 which would necessitate us reforming our float to approx 6 million shares in total. This would cost us $50,000 entry fee and $43,000 annual fee.

So let the hive mind of Argo investors pick holes in that. I can't see what the problem is. Seems like a small price to pay for an overnight 5 bag.

sn88 - My very limited understanding is that some US markets would require us to reform our float so we had fewer, larger shares. Instead of 297 million shares at 7 cents, we might have 20 million shares at a dollar.

Happy to be corrected and educated on this.

natnrg - It's not a stupid question. I doubt many of us understand the ins and outs of a dual listing. I have asked the BOD several times over the last few months to draw up a list of potential US markets with their respective costs and hurdles so we can take a look. I know Peter has spoken to shareholders and has stated a dual listing is something he is looking into but I am concerned that there has been no movement.

The Japanese name combined with the investment is Argo shows great courage and wisdom.

Fukurokuju - Some people have spoken to Peter about a foreign listing and it is on the agenda. They are wary of listing in Canada given the potential bankruptcy of HUT8 and BITF.

I advocate only for a US listing.

I'm not angry at Peter at all. I just despise the London market and many of its inhabitants, most of this board excepted.

People talking about landlordism - scum.
People talking about 10p target for Argo - scum
People claiming 2 bags as great successes - scum
People talking about growth companies paying dividends - scum

I am happy that in this pure and noble corner of the market most people don't suffer from any of these cardinal sins. But even here, among the brave and heroic Argo investors, we still occasionally see these evils rear their ugly heads. And as good honourable men it falls on us to fight these evils whenever they occur. For the sake of Argo, Capitalism and freedom.

Yes Krautyankee I agree but I'm doing it more to highlight the fact to the minority of luddites on this board that we need to be listed in America. I know many people have followed me into Riot after I ramped it on here. Those people now know the extreme speculative energy currently present in the US for micro blockchain companies. It is therefore imperative that our BOD get us over there ASAP.

Nothing could be more important. I don't know how to make it clearer for the hard of thinking. The only difference between us and RIOT and MARA is that we are significantly bigger and better! Yet we languish and large shareholders here continue to acquiesce to BOD passivity.

Get us over there now. Get some publicity. Ramp the **** out of this piglet and let it fly. Fcuk London.

I have been spamming the RIOT and MARA posters with the question "Would you ever consider investing in a British blockchain company listed in London?"

Mostly non responses. One guy said "probably not with good ones in the u s/ canada"

Another guy "have you seen MARA!"

Another guy admitted to MARA being almost a completely speculative play.

Another: "Why don't you just buy Riot and Mara?"

I have name dropped Argo to these guys but I very much doubt they will be interested. London is one huge vicious positive feedback loop. Full of w.ankers who sell 10% rises and low on speculation. This drives the market down and lowers sentiment which depresses the market further. And all the while the proper speculators with good capital won't touch it with a bargepole, however polite they may be to me online.

73 as of today's monthly update. Once we have paid off the excellent ZEC machines we should hodl for a few months in preparation for a US listing.

I can't get on twitter unfortunately. They have a hard block on my whole digital identity. It is good proof, if I ever need any, of my inherent virtue.

Just been asking people on the MARA board about their holdings. A bit of anger there as they don't hold any. They have just started mining with around 50PH currently with new machines bringing that up to 250PH in a few months. Their MCAP in the US = $60m. Up 35% on the day.

That's what we are missing guys. If Argo was in America we would be $200m within a week.
