BIT. Hi GedW, good to have your input on this one. I've been buying these from around the 6.5p mark and have great hopes for the company based on what I know of them (not selling at these levels by the way - hoping for quite a bit more, but thats just my opinion). However, I have no idea what has driven this price rise, and can find no new news anywhere which may have caused it. Do you have any idea what is behind it? I have noticed turnover really pick up over the last few days, with much of it small Ordinary buys of 10-25,000, which suggests private buyers rather than big players (at this stage). Any thoughts appreciated.

LGB: I just don't understand this share at all. If it really does have NAV of £2+ in cash, you can bet your bottom dollar the city would have picked up on it by now and would be squeezing the SP towards that level. The amount of big transactions suggests that someone knows somwthing, but the fact the share price is drifting makes me nervous - to be trading at 25-30% of cash NAV for so long is just not right. Despite the fact I still believe its a BUY based on the fundamentals of what we believe the balance sheet looks like, I sold out last week (Thanks GedW for helping me make the right decision) and bought into BIT instead. I'm still watching LGB intently, and if the NAV situation does start to become clearer, then I'm sure I'll be back, long or short.

LGB. GedW, with all due respect, I fully understand the rules of takeovers, acquisitions and mergers, and there is nothing different about LGB approaching RAC to any other takeover. Yes, there are rules and regs to consider, but as LGB has no substantial interest in RAC's filed of expertise already, then there should be no reason why this bid will be referred. Should the bid prove to be too high, well thats another matter, but at this stage I see no reason for your sentiments.

LGB. Hi GedW. Just curious, where do you see details of a bid, and curiouser still, why would you say sell on the back of a bid?

Hello all. I'm new to this site, though have tinkered in shares for years. Really intrigued by this stock, and have bought in a few over the last few weeks. Still can't figure out why it refuses to go higher, what with all that cash in the bank and all. Interested to see a single 3,225,000 BUY go through today.
