@troublesome…. respectably, I disagree. Most hold the same negative views about certain aspects of this company and have the same suspicions. Even the most positive influencers here have changed their tone on what they previously did not accept as a negative but now do.

There is no need to single me out as the only one you consider to be subdued or negative. Theres an overwhelming population of pis invested here that feel the same.

My views have never been popular as I was a first mover who spoke up and out against those that would rather have fingers in ears or prefer only a positive theme. I am not to blame for any sp decline, that would have happened anyway. I am also not to blame for those that invested since February based on positive tones held here and elsewhere which turned out to be incorrect and those PIs are now all on heavy loses. The latter is the main point I have always made and I have no guilt in this aspect. Others here should. People predicting the bottom, making up rumours. Those were and are unhelpful and create hope and nothing else.

@Harchris I disagree that I have ever said that NCYT should be valued on pre covid values. I simply have never said that. It’s obvious that with the cash pile (if it does not decrease from DHSC) that many possibilities and opportunities will present themselves. I think everyone here agrees that the DHSC dispute is the riding factor. The outcome of that will decide what cash is available for M&A. The timescale is simply unknown though. It could be tomorrow, it could be years until a decision has been made. I think most agree that the strategy needs to be reviewed too. What are Novacyts plans prior to the DHSC decision. They will have views for both outcomes but these have not been communicated to company owners. I would like to hear that the LTIP plan (second tranche) is put on pause until the DHSC outcome is known which is up to the remuneration committee to decide on and the new ceo.

It’s clear that a lot of covid stocks and bio stocks which were on the fringes have had their MCAPs reduced significantly and this hasn’t helped.

It’s clear that the delay to product launches has not helped planned revenues. How did we miss the LFT market and why were we so slow to launch a competing product. The strategy early on is questionable and why it was with PCRs or LFTs rather than both.

It’s clear that covid revenues is extremely difficult to predict, hence the need to diversify. Let’s hope those q machines bring non covid opportunities against an increasing growing competition.

Alternatively, perhaps the extensions and issues with DHSC should have been communicated sooner? Why were no other contracts ever announced apart from those leading to the LTIP date? Smaller ones were announced before the DHSC ones.

I don’t wish to sound argumentative all the time, but I do like constructive criticism otherwise we become a boiler house. I’m happy to be told when I am wrong but I don’t see the point of the generic hate comments back. Everyone has their own theories. Mine is a theory about the share price coinciding with the LTIP, the sudden downfall after that of the share price and the concurrent retirement of those guys. Yes it could all be just to do with the DHSC and completely unrelated but that’s for all of us to decide and debate (if we choose)!

Which one of these covid stocks stands out? Only Novacyt hit its highs at this time and was the first to fall. It has the biggest delta (signifantly) by a country mile with the price then compared to the share price now. Just coincidence though right?!

Above clearly show EKF were already growing well and had good revs prior to covid. Novacyt could not even sustain a year on year increase in revenues. Prior to 2020, they were running on losses for net income, however some amounts in 2020 revenues are in dispute. Now please tell me where I am wrong with the below. Novacyt are clearly a big risk. The cash is at risk of being decreased due to the dispute. EKFs is not, as they have paid out on inaugural dividend.
We have a new CEO who has never been in that position and no proven record running a company this size. EKFs Julian Bains been there since flotation and recently changed CEO to another long termer David Micheal.

If I brought EKF up in conversation every two minutes, I’d be accused of cross ramping. There is no comparison between the two companies. Move on.

@DRB ….but GMs bonus is current news from private eye? We only saw it posted yesterday. I find the contract issues and various disputes between government and various companies out there to be quite interesting. We won’t bring the sp down talking about it in general terms. As someone pointed out yesterday, Innova did pretty well out of bad publicity.

If GMs bonus is not allowed, could we please also move on from talking about covid and look to the future with non covid products. This is a company that needs to diversify to meet previous covid revenues with the number of staff now employed. Plus its grim reading and morbid, hearing about the numbers of those seriously Ill and those that have sadly passed away in individual countries. Almost sounds like some gory ‘match of the day’ special at times.

We know that there is a coronavirus pandemic/endemic, we know there will be variants, we know the company is predicting sales to half for this one disease every year. We know most will get fully jabbed, we know there will always be a minority that won’t sign up to it. What else needs to be said? Let’s move on to other product ranges.

@Kearen …good point reference timing. However full year results 2nd June and announcement of new ceo 29th July. Seems a short period to find a new ceo replacement and would be surprised remuneration committee didn’t know about resignation plans by then. I mean normal jobs are 2 to 3 months.

Also we don’t know when GM formally ended employment. There could have been holiday owed after CEO change on 15th Oct which would take him into the eligibility date.

I don’t believe for a minute that Graham eneded employment a few weeks prior to be eligible for the second tranche. He’d been there since 2014 and even before that with lab 21. You can’t seriously think he worked 10 years and finished two weeks prior to another nearly £3m tranche payment being made available.

The employment bit I have seen ….it’s in the original admission document and repeated in the remuneration sections in each annual report. No need to reference this thanks Kaeren.

It’s odd that surescreen invoices suddenly stopped. They have also done very well out of covid. If it’s based on giving money away then why is ODX not named? Where’s Abingdon health which I believe has the GLP case in December. Where are those names?

Chris….I’m actually hoping that since we are as low as low can be, we can’t be at any further risk due to cash in bank. There’s only so it can fall.

However, any news, good or bad will be a focus on the Novacyt company and brands. Now, if everyone is as confident as they say they are reference the DHSC dispute, then any press coverage can only be a good thing to build up awareness of the company and what it has done. Let’s hope, Novacyt are in the right (now there’s a tag line)!

Why is that hard to understand Chris? I want Graham investigated or remuneration committee but also just making a point that his massive bonus doesn’t necessarily mean shareholders did well out of it.

Why do you keep protecting a ex-CEO who left most holders on massive losses whilst he skips off into the sunset on millions in bonuses which was suspiciously based upon 1 month highs of the last 36 which happened to ensure his bonus was maximised to the near highs. Give me a break.

He then does everything possible to crash the share price. Maybe he’s innocent and just an idiot but there is no way the remuneration committee should have signed off on this. And now he will be getting the second trance if the interim report against going concern is anything to go buy.
