Itās all very well people trying to be positive with remarks such as āthe train is just leaving the platformā etc (which incidentally, it has been since Jan 2021 apparently!) but those comments do nothing but hope and nothing else to PIs. Also, TA traders on here are either incompetent with their knowledge of charts or are deliberately misinforming people. Not one of them has been right to date, you know who you are. Stop it now or get called out each time.
We are just at the start of another crisis with Omicron, massive cases expected, bad news everywhere, deaths expected in high numbers, danger of overwhelming health trusts worldwide, huge LFT & PCR demand throughout the UK/Europe/world, first UK CDTA approval given to Novacyt etc. Surely sentiment should be at its high?!
However, the share price just continues to steadily collapse. We have gone from £12 to £3.62 in just 10.5 months. We might bounce up and down a little bit in this range but all we will have are the repeated traders who shout £12 on the way up with each little bounce before the sp returns back down. For me, this company and its share price continues to be disconcerting. I repeat, sentiment should have returned but it has not.
I have no doubt that IF Omicron hadnāt arrived, we would be sat just under Ā£2 now. People argue this, but it has already happened.
At some point in the near future, cases will peak and numbers will start to come down. And then, so will the share price even more so. Perhaps another worse variant in Omega arrives with a crossover of Delta and Omicron. Then the same again, slight rise and bouncing. Silence will continue from the BoD, traders have fun, LTHs get more frustrated.
Therefore, I would suggest that everyone puts massive pressure on Novacyt in January. The response from the BoD and certainly David Allmond has just not been good enough. I worry that he is lacking the experience needed.
DHSC isnāt silencing them as the business sells to different private companies and governments inside and outside of the UK. So letās forget that one as the excuse please.
The new year starts in 14 days, and still the BoD do not have a strategy or any idea of sales. We have circa of 200 employees for goodness sake, do they have a job in 2022? It is unfathomable, that we are at this point in the year and there is no forward guidance of the business. Will it be similar to £100m revs in 2021, no one knows. Is the business revs growing next year or not. No one knows. Are we branching out to other business areas. No one knows. What is the MA strategy. No one knows.
Yes this sounds like a deramp, I accept that but I am a shareholder and I donāt like losing money that took a lifetime to buildup due to the current ineptitude in this company and its consultants.
Anyone who says āonly invest in what you can afford to loseā is not worth listening too as they are evidently just gamblers. Investment should not be a gamble
