They are currently a £20m MCAP company Porky. That’s a very large percentage of our free cash with dispute unresolved and risk from that. Do you think they would be bought out at there lowest price……should bio offer nova the lowest share price too?

Gizmo…..firstly, well done for your success in trading this share over the last few years, even if you only have recently admitted to it. Although those swings are becoming less with the ever decreasing volumes.

Secondly, those elderly relatives are already vaccinated. If they are already fragile or have health issues they have likely already and been given further boosters. They are probably at the same risk of complications from anything else now. Are you concerned for her majesty the queen with her age and recently getting covid…...or is it likely she will be ok anyway?

Valju….who cares about your principles? We are discussing the investment case here. Testing is massively reducing, and it is obvious to most that no one will pay out for testing. So stop fooling any potential investors with bs. The company needs to move on from covid. Why can’t you see that?

DRB……Stop hanging on to covid as the future revenue stream. It’s gone without new dangerous variants. Novacyt needs to adapt to non covid revenue streams quickly.

Valju……you are kidding yourself if you think people are going to go out and buy tests. As I have said before, I work for a company with 80k employees. No one is being tested at work. The social distancing stickers will soon be removed, the desks with crosses on will soon have these removed, capacity will be back to normal. The wipes and disinfectant spray will probably reduce over time. The only time people will test is if they get all of a sudden become worried about a new variant which causes more deaths and that the vaccine cannot target. At present, in the UK, that concern does not exist.

Bad I guess. August was along time ago in relative terms so the IR questions are now in the history books. No one will pay for tests out of their own pocket and certainly business won’t be paying out for them. Maybe a small amount in some health settings. Unless of course a more dangerous variant comes along.

Valju….if anyone wanted to lower their average, we would have seen greater volumes prior to the current price on offer and PIs buying then. As a consequence of the Russia/Ukraine situation coming after market, together with Boris after market ‘living with covid’ along with the impact of the US markets not being open today, I would say the whole global market might possibly have a down day tomorrow. Putin will continue to play the news so that Russia can swing trade at a global level and help pay for the Inevitable massive sanctions that will follow their attack on Ukraine. At some point, when markets relax then interest will return to the markets but to say war doesn’t affect share prices would be ignorance. I’m still waiting for China to end the zero covid strategy. Will they really allow countries to overtake them on an economic scale or will they bite the bullet and return to normal. Possibly, covid comes back to bite but I really hope we have a non covid future to grow here.

Chris…..I can’t imagine anyone would be building a stake with the Russian situation and Boris’s living with covid strategy released after market today. Why buy Friday or today when the price will be lower in the near future?

If I was Bio and sat on just over 4 percent, I would sell a few, release the 3 percent RNS tomorrow, look like im selling out and then buy back and release my 4+% after the Russian situation has blown over.

I’m starting to believe the conspiracy theories from Valju.

I for one know that everyone is trying to get cheaper novacyt shares across the whole galaxy.

Kaeren, I too thought that the likely negative Phase 3 trials for Synairgen would be released so that it would bring the covid sector down and therefore Novacyt’s share price.

However, after following the Ukraine/Russia situation the last few weeks, I realised this was bigger and of course that the Russia/ Ukraine war was being created to get cheaper Novacyt shares. So with a heavy heart and using my sixth sense (even with Biosynex buying), I sold my soul to the devil and became weak and sold a lump of my shares.

I knew that Putin was desperate for a bit of Novacyt. Call me lucky but it might be a good call. RTS index down 20 percent, Vix to follow and every other share out there. I’m hoping that I can play Putin at his own game and get some more Novacyt shares before he can. Thanks for opening my eyes to this manipulated market Valju, I owe you one.
