Lost an awful lot of money on share over the years what I made I put back in ,so have only shares in cerp and Bor left now which are best of forgotten about, shares became an addiction and always on my screen and always looking for the next big winner, which sadly are very few and far between .
When my father died it was very tempting to invest what he had left me,but he said some months before he died to enjoy the money I would be getting and not to try to make more, after his death couldn’t be on the screen all day as I had his estate to get in order ,probate etc, so it broke the habit of shares , I bought a car ,Focus Rs 500 and over the years Sierra Cosworth,Escort Cosworth,Focus heritage edition all mint and low miles, I never bought them to make money but ironically they are now worth a lot more than I paid, I get to see them drive them and people love the Cossie s , it’s pride of ownership which you don’t get from company shares , those who have lost money use what’s left to enjoy yourself, there are far more losers than winners making money on shares, it’s all corrupt in one way or another
