I agree with this. I find it hot and awkward. Especially wearing glasses which keep misting up.

My US travel stocks are up today when typing this, carnival, Norwegian cruise line, royal carribian. Yet this is just down. Any idea why?Love the fact Tui is advertising on a banner in this page which I see. haha

The younger generation are addicted to travel and not susceptible to travel. So this will go up. Might be 6 months, might be 5 years. So I’m just waiting. No rush for me.

Colti - I’ve been buying 150 shares ish every hour for about 4 weeks. Ended up with a large sum invested. But intend on doing this until September time ish. Also in other travel shares to spread the risk. :-)

Malaga, flights were 70 euros return and with 4 kids, that’s a massive discount, also the hotel was cheap. Eating out seems more expensive this year though. However, appears the resturant trade has finally realised to look after tourists!!!

Wiggy, I’m not exactly a fan of Fosun, so on that topic, which companies would want this. What Tui have is volume, reduce expending a couple of % and it’s good to go. (In simple terms)

The whole TC and fosun thing was a shambles from memory......

So I’m out for dinner in a nice sunny country. Not thinking about this share and table next to me are talking about the TUi share and Fosun taking it over. It’s 99% probably a bunch of tosh and I could not hear enough to know if it was even serious. But wanted to start a debate on this. Will tui have a buy out? If so why?

Personally, I very much don’t think it will happen as they are already too big and not many companies will want them. Also not exactly the right time unless you have seriously deep pockets and want a lot of risk.

Opinions? This is just to start a debate for the good and bad points of Tui.

Probably, social distancing is not practiced at all. The reason being not necessary wanting too. But it’s impossible, bars have barely reduced tables, it’s a shove as many people on the terrace as possible as we don’t know how long we will be open for. Beaches are packed with locals and tourists all day long.

I’m on holiday at the moment, first school holiday week of the year, it’s packed everywhere!

Also curious today, Covid cases rising, yet people still out visiting beaches and traveling and now there is liquidity. Very curious how this will go.

Also with the possibility EU ministers will make a deal for funding this afternoon.
