I tend to agree, with this, might be an initial spike, but will level off. Airbridges are a known, if we know it, others do as well.

Solution, dont put all your eggs in one basket and also buy in regularly over time.

Solid company yes, but they could still go under if this situation goes on for ever.....

I agree with this statement, I am buying 150-200 shares every 30 minutes give or take. Overall, I think im about 5% down as I started 2 weeks ago. I am weirdly quite happy with that, I am just please I also sold the large stake 2 weeks ago and am now buying in (expensive, but worth it)

I think the issue is alot of investors from the UK, think Tui are a UK only company. You have to remember Germany, NL have a very different mentality. Living in NL, most of the parents at schools are booking holidays, most employees. A lot last minute, but they realise it might be cancelled or pushed back. However, feel safer booking it with Tui rather than a little outfit. So if Tui play their cards right here, they could get massive market share.

However, I also recognise the risk with this share, if lockdowns keep coming in and disrupting holidays, it could cause havoc with this company and all travel companies.

Looks like the FTSE 100 climbing dragged this up.

I think its a case of alot of travel companies are in the press raising capital at the moment and this is dragging the whole sector down. This is why I sold two weeks ago and I publicly said on this forum as a worry and some screamed at me for commenting on the negative press and that I sold and said I was going to buy back in slowly over time. Dont put all your eggs in one basket, it was my opinion then and its still my opinion and buy over a period of time to average out the price.

I’m still buying in. 150 shares every 30 minutes ish. Now up to 4,500 ish shares. Idea is to either make a quick buck and get luck if it ever reaches 8 quid or hold long term ( happy with either).

Agreed. I have a friend that lives in South Korea that was in lockdown about 4-6 weeks before the UK. It opened up about a month ago and he says at the shops it’s like corona never happened. Busy streets, it’s a consumer society now, people want holidays and stuff!

Just wanted to correct you there, I live in Europe, families want to go on holiday this summer. I’m one of them. They have even already started. So there is demand. Some parts of Europe it’s like the whole thing never happened, shops full, theme parks open. So there is definatly demand. The UK I can’t speak for, judging by the photos of the beaches when it was hot. I’m guessing so!

I am so pleased that I sold two weeks ago. Some guys on here laughed at me when I said I sold... Looks like i was right, made a great trade there. However, my plans have now changed, I was buying daily and spreading. Now, I am making a purchase of 150-200 shares every 30 minutes. ;-) just being open. Just averaging down and taking advantage and I will keep buying as now is the opportunity for me.

I’m buying daily at the moment and holding for the longer term. Sold out a couple of weeks ago around 6. Now slowly buying back in.

probably a good day to top up a little.....

I think its to get people to second guess the rampers, rampers are just as bad as derampers. Personally, sometimes I listen, sometimes I dont. But never just listen to the positives. Otherwise your trading will eventually come to a grinding hault when you have lost your shirt.
