I gotta to confess, I live in Netherlands, its been fantastic during the coronavirus outbreak, Rutte the PM asked, yes he asked! not demanded, most people complied, most shops remained open to break even, social distancing in place and schools were shut around two weeks before the UK. The UK still had theaters and cinemas open which were spreading the virus at the beginning. We in Europe are laughing at the UK with your packed beaches and your PM. Sorry to say it, but yes you have become the laughing stock of Europe.

This actually does not bother me at the moment, most companies are holding onto cash and not paying any invoices, right now cash is king for survival.

I have to confess I have traded this share so much the past 4 weeks, I do not even have a core holding anymore. Maybe trade it 5 times a day on average. Working well so far.

Me too. My only worry with TUI is the potential rights issue that was on the cards.... :-(

Tourism is a good bet though.

I have to say they are very active in reducing costs for survival. Thomas Cook was a lot slow in letting people go. As it happens Thomas Cool would never have survived 2020. However, TUI seems to be a much more nimble company recognizing what it has to do.

I guess now I better buy another single and move this share up a quid.

Just saw the RNS, hmm I dont think they would have been the only one look at the date, it was the date of the last large spike.

Its an OCD thing, alot of old trader friends now they are older hate odd share amounts in the portfolio. Seems to be working, maybe ill sell 5 shares. haha

Got lucky with the first trade, bought and bottom, sold on high, could not have been better.

Then bought back yesterday thinking maybe a 10% jump today and it sits there like a cheap hooker.

Thats probably because I bought back in yesterday after selling last week. dumb luck. ;-)

Even with the additional funding, you would have just been delaying the inevitable. Simlply TCG were spending to much money. They should have made staff redundant, closed shops sold off parts for survival.

Even with the Fosun deal it would have just delayed it. The changes should have happened 12-18 months ago.

I had a colleague 10 years ago, 21 years old, got a massive bonus for saving the company 2 million in IT expenses which were not needed. So he bought bitcoin. He forgot about it and then boom he resigns worth 10 million plus. Good for him!
