I believe the order books for LSE are looked after by CREST. I am not sure if you can see them.

I don't know how I can be clearer. Not all orders are matched off. Those that are indeed transactions. Those that aren't remain in the order book as either buys or sells until there is an equivalent sell or buy. Nice try.

The number of shares bought and sold does not refer to transaction amounts..

It relates to the number of buys and sells registered on the LSE order book. They are not necessarily all matched instantly.
