What on earth is happening to the share price now? Every time I look it seems to have dropped even more. Although this is one of my larger holdings, thank goodness it not my sole one. By and large the others are more stable and are generally pointing north.

Great to see RR back above £12. Just looked at the Google chart and saw a day low quote of 990 however. Can’t make out what time that was, surely a mistake?

I admire your optimism, but sadly cannot see it myself. Personally I wish I’d sold around the £13 mark and bought back in if and when this stock bottoms. Just going to hang on now and hope for the best. At least we will all have a 5p divi today!

When I left BT just over 11 years ago, I too was a C3 working on exchange construction in various locations. Before New Grid my grade was Technical Officer ( TO ). My salary At the time of leaving was £30,500, which was the top end as I had been 30 years in that role. I have friends who are still with the company who tell me that the current Max for C3 is just over £40k. There is, of course, an annual pay review due shortly which will probably nudge this to nearly £41k.

Hi Velo, thanks for your thoughts on poundf.co.uk, and not pounf.co.uk, as my typo suggested. I always enjoy your posts and I thank you for your views on this matter. As you say they only seem to look a few shares besides BT. It just seems ludicrous to me when they make predictions months and even years into the future. What is the point when there are so many variables almost on a daily basis?

Does anyone look at, take notice of etc of this supposed share price forecaster. Not only does it not seem to rate BT very highly regarding price forecasting, but more bizarrely it purports to list price predictions well into the future. Does anyone think there is any credence in it?
