Yes it wi be very interesting to see what happens after FID assuming all goes ahead as it seems at long last it will happen.

Will Navitas have a plan after the ball starts rolling on Sealion? Looking at the way they have done business so far it looks like they don’t like sitting in their hands and waiting.

As already mentioned if/when FID is given the green light the worlds media will have a field day. We will seriously be in the limelight and every UK newspaper, Sky BBC etc etc etc will give RKH enormous coverage. Then at some point Argentina will have to say something even if it’s just for show.

With all the attention I think that’s when the opportunist’s will think let’s buy them out cheaply for XYZ while we are relatively low priced compared to where the share price could potentially go. I sincerely hope that doesn’t happen as we will see a very nice price rise if a bid came in but not the figure we all hope/think the share price will be as first oil gets closer and even higher once Isobel is fully understood.

Interesting times ahead either way and hopefully a lot of profit for us all. 💰💰

bootledodger i completely agree. i’m very nearly at the age where i’m looking to retire and enjoy what good health i have left as you never know what’s around the corner.

take over £1.70 would be acceptable maybe but that price could be very cheap depending on how big isobel is. if we only knew that now it would make accepting or rejecting any potential offers easier. we are now definitely closer than ever before to be rewarded on what has been a very slow and long waiting game. hopefully we will all be rewarded very well and fingers crossed it’ll be well worth the wait. either way it shouldn’t be too long too long to find out.

The chances of Navitas pulling out isn’t happening imo. They have far to many people involved in this project and have spent a vast amount of money, the next stages are planned out. FSPO etc etc. The time lines may shift a little but that’s to be expected with Shenandoah due to start pumping oil very soon. Navitas are way more professional than premier were and their track record speaks volumes about them. As others have said they probably have the finances for Sealion already and possibly a third party rubbing their hands chomping at the bit should they want one.

They are too professional to let this one slip by. The way their share price has risen should tell everyone that they are more than capable and Sealion will catapult them to a new level.

Sit back and enjoy ride and hopefully riches beyond our dreams.

Ps. Market dope is back despite telling everyone he wasn’t posting again. If I had a penny for every time he’s said that I’d be a millionaire.

Fantasy trades, probably hold no shares or a very insignificant amount and the way the Bore goes in about BOR means he’s probably so underwater with them he’s a one man ramping band trying to recover losses. Again that’s if he actually has any.

Tincan. You are definitely correct. £1.00 is achievable this year and still undervalued IMO. As you say could/should be worth a lot more but that depends on whether Rockhopper still exists as a standalone company. Either way very interesting times ahead and I’m guessing if all goes well a lot of relived long term holders and some who will retire and live very comfortably in the back of it. Me (hopefully)being one of them.

I think it’s more of a physiological barrier rather than market forces. As some have said get above 50p and next stop 62p.

Fingers crossed Shenandoah goes as planned and we then can start to really think about what FID will do the share price. I’m thinking £1.00. Time will tell….
