You`d actually think they would but they don`t.

My comment is simply that approvals do not positively effect the SP. They might well be part of the road to an enormous sales order but they do not on their own positively effect the SP. Idiot !!

I`ve been here since April and I`m afraid to say you can talk all you want about approvals, design freezes, WHO whatever. We have seen consistently that these RNS`s do not move the SP in the slightest upwards. In fact like today its infact down laughably on supposed good news.
I know many people take great issue with double D on this board but he`s right the only thing that will move this upwards is orders. So we can have approval in India, Timbuktu and Narnia but until there`s orders and therefore money this ain`t moving. Its a sorry tale because other AIM shares move 50% on chuff all, this ain`t one of them.
I`m holding a large chunk here for me and another month isn`t going to bother me, I`d just wish we could fast forward a bit.

Agreed Rob, I don`t know why you`d need a placing if you had massive revenue streams coming on in a few months time. I suspect they want to keep the ball rolling now and the fact that its easy money to get with all the current hype.
Having said that one of the major threats to the share price, ie a placing is out of the way which is a massive thing for all PI`s in AIM companies. If the news and income from the contracts start emerging then there are definately good profits here. I own about 15 AIM shares and this is the one I would be most confident about between now and Christmas.

I`m not very understanding about placings like this as us current shareholders should be allowed to apply for shares at a 25% discount. Someone`s just bought £5million at a 25% discount and has made 1/2 million in the last hour. The truth is that administratively its easier for the company to flog of the cheap shares in an hour to 3 or 4 mates then deal with 1000`s of us. Its not fair and ultimately shows what they think of us.
I`m a bit unsure why they need the money as the reasons are a bit woolly the usual stuff about expansion etc. With the order book they`ve got I`m surprised they need any money at all as it should roll in pretty quickly. Perhaps the kids school fees need paying.
However unlike most placings the sp is recovering pretty quickly, the placing money was raised in an instant (otherwise the begging bowl would have had to come round to us plebs) and this is one share on AIM that if it was 10 times this in 6 months it wouldn`t surprise me. Should get more good news soon so I expect double and trebling here over the next 3 months.

Cloudy, me old mate we had some laughs on that CTEA board, look at the state of that now. Now on to important business here. What do you think of the following, I think this could be a massive gainer in the short term because of the hype and the massive Chinese company they are involved with. In the medium term ie after about a week the price will drop back as there will be no news for months. Then when the initial results come out (whenever can someone advise 3 months, 6 months ?) it could surge again. The Chinese as someone said don`t suffer fools gladly, I`m in this for a quick buck though.

Another thing, people who were day trading this and top slicing etc looked as if they were doing this at 3-4pm. The slightly depressed sp then encouraged more buying putting it back up with the fomo coming into play. Hopefully we`ll get another spike tomorrow.

Really strong close which bodes well for tomorrow. A bit surprising really as at 3.30 it was 60% ish from 127%. Hopefully another good rise from the off tomorrow. Don`t miss it, tea and toast ready and at your desk for 8.00, money to be made !!

The truth of this Lewy is we`ll see. As for the money I trebled my investment and made £5k profit. I just don`t see it going much further but I have kept in here in a small way in case it does. So never say never, all I`m saying is it hasn`t move much further. Lets see if my 800 turns into 1600 then great and I`ll regret not leaving it all in . Let`s see, it was they who said they had loads of interest not me. Then chuff all. Might be the next Amazon ? Dream on.

Remember here CTEA have had 4 months to get something marketable and they`ve so far got no paying customers . Despite us being promised months ago that there was loads of interest in the app. Now they`ve gone back to Newcastle to further trail app amendments, development of which will take longer. Still no income or customers. All fact.
Loads of customers, government interest etc is all dreamland stuff and is just people guessing.
My opinion here is that people invested here are being strung alone as there`s always just one more thing to do before it gets big and this company if you delve deeper has previous history for it. I actually think their BS ers . The psychology of this in investing terms is brilliant in that we are all being promised something and the jam is always next month because we want to believe. If you stood back and looked logically or imagined someone trying to sell you the company you`d probably reply. So you got an app thats not fully developed yet on a tiny trial, you said you`d have customers a month ago but still have`nt any and you want me to give you £1000 to invest in it !! No chance.
As I`ve said before my investment is now £800 in the hope of a bit of a spike but don`t think that this has any legs at all, unless and its a big unless they start announcing large orders.

I think we were all surprised last year when they even bothered filing accounts and combined with the fact that John may told me that they were looking at other things made the two things "fit" in that something might happen. To be honest it's too far gone now but I'm hoping something might pop up out of the blue. As for the cash situation if anybody is still getting paid i'd be amazed as they've had over two years to empty the piggy bank.
Like you said I too was extremely naive when I stuck a load of money in this. However this lesson has saved me more than the 14k I invested in the way I look at other investments now which has led me to avoiding so far anything else like this.

Held here all along and disappointed throughout re the SP over the last few months despite some great RNS`s. Read with interest the posts about the seller and how they were holding down the SP. I always take that with a pinch of salt in that its often an excuse for a non performing SP. Not here someone said that he would be out at the end of August and they were right now we`re getting good daily rises ( a really nice 8% today) slow and steady throughout next week and hopefully another 15%. With an RNS we could soon be up to 25p in two weeks. Congratulations to the seller posters.

The important factor is here that two months ago the CEO said that there had been loads of interest in the app and somebody described him on here as looking like the cat who`s got the cream.
Two months later nothing except back to the original trial customer.
Go and research something else.

Heather, the only thing you have to look at here is how many paying customers they`ve got 1 a Newcastle hospital, which says it all. (Are they even paying the original trial was done as a freebie)
Oh and we`ve got the new sales manager we`ll see how they are doing soon enough.

Bought back a much smaller amount and just sold some more on yesterdays rise which is all this ever a pump and dump thing. First paragraph of that is bang on. Awhile ago we would be laughing all the way to the bank the amount of orders CTEA was going to get, 6 weeks later back to the same tiny Newcastle hospital and Botswana whatevers going on there. Just have £1k left in here as punt money but after this week I expect to see that going south.
Maybe one more spike in this that`s starting now but after that I would`nt be confident at all.

Dream on if you think those vesting prices will be met. They were set when they thought they were on the brink of something revolutionary. Now we`ve had trials at a small Newcastle hospital, more tests in Botswana (of all places!) , then the CEO giving a fantastic interview a month ago talking about loads of interest in the app.
What we`ve actually got is like usual on AIM is the potential of a money spinner but in reality nothing. Nobodies paid for anything and the company normally gives regular RNS`s. Now there`s nothing to tell and thinks are`nt as rosy as we were led to believe a month ago , there`s no news. Which says it all about where we are going with this.
