We all know airlines will go with the cheapest tests deemed legal and put this cost on the customer if possible. It will not be Prince Al’s Avacta unless they become they cheapest option. This talk of airlines wanting the best test is wiffle waffle as usual. Legal and cheap will be order of they day. BH knows his stuff
King Colin King, the saviour and true ruler of all the ODX faithful. Apart from Bighero, I don’t see any people that can hold a candle to you. Prince Al from the share I cannot name tried to take the royalty top dog tag but could not topple our King. I will invite King Colin to dine at my table when the company reaches its true value. It’s always a privilege for anyone to dine at Bighero’s table so I’m sure Colin will jump at the chance. After some of the abuse he has taken over the past months I am sure he will be very happy to hear that there was at least one clever investor that managed to make money throughout the ups and downs, not just by waiting for a rerate and having to rely on the CEO to do it for them.
There is a lot wiffle waffle on this board. Bighero sees nothing but rubbish recently
Vegas, the BH fan club know the plan is to make a nice profit from ODX and then catch Avacta on the uptrend with my very significant bank balance. ODX for money soon, Avacta for the long term when we will see if Prince Al can take King Colin King’s crown.
Not today though unfortunately. Down 1.8%. King Colin King’s ODX was blue though. Beautiful comms from that company recently and there will be money to be made. At that point Bighero’s fingers will be limbering up to re-enter that Avacta pie.
Wow wow wow wow. This hero gives the tweet a thumbs up. Like a thundering shot from the beautiful willow sweet spot of a well crafted cricket bat. Knocked it for SIX.
Whatch out, Timster will be on soon having a little angry moan about investors discussing the days share price movements. Down today though, but The Hero predicted that this morning. Exciting news elsewhere in the market but all quiet at Avacta. Some news needed here sharpish and I for one would be tremendously excited to see it land. Come on Prince Al, second in line to King Colin King’s throne. We all want Avacta soaring like the eagle we all know it can be.
iPadtrader - that last post from you is a made up lie. My post was merely about the demise of Avacta of 1.6% for the day. Not my portfolio. Get a grip old buddy old pal. Trade the market and make money. Don’t buy on the spike as you normally do
The great news of the day is Bighero has now sold out of the shares he bought at 125. ANOTHER 10%+ profit and ready for the decline again before buying back in. People slate the 10% brigade but when we make money this often it adds up and up and up until we are very rich. What an easy share to trade
ZzTop, I missed this thread yesterday as BH was preoccupied with a kitchen disaster and a resulting wall full of my famed onion Dopiaza. The tale will fall into local folklore.
As for our dear friend Shelley. Maybe a trip with Bighero to the beach to wash away all those negative thoughts about our rightful King, Colin King. Let’s put the world to rights, drink merrily and laugh like we were back in our teenage years without an LFT care in the world. Once Stock Master Hero had dealt with the anger management issues, we could have some special one to one tuition on investing which would see rewards of riches only imaginable. Shelley, it’s an open invite. First lesson is… don’t invest in the share I cannot name (Avct). Yet.
If that’s the case it’s up to 3.5m more LFTs a week. 500,000 people a week being pinged at the moment all of which would need to take tests. Some scallywags would refuse and some people would be doing 2 a week anyway so it might be 2.5m a week more. Not insignificant. Omega could nearly service the extra themselves for £374m
Bighero has taken some criticism on this board of late, unjustly I may add because I make money. However Scharnhorst, you, sir, are a buffoon and your post deserves much criticism. There is ample evidence out there proving beyond doubt that the UK tests are much better than the Chinese stuff being used. This human aims to stir the pot and cause ructions for the ODX faithful.
Rough bighero maths:
3.2bn / 4 = 800m
Government data shows to date 118m LFTs used in England. Other nations do not give the data but let’s call it 130m as I like round numbers and all my prices are simple to understand. How many tests have been used and not recorded? Let’s go crazy and double it to a barmy 260m total! Finally how many tests sit unused in the bathroom cabinet or small business office like my delicious takeaway - order a test kit and get seven tests so maybe 50m? 260+50 = 310m.
I like to squeeze numbers, like my prices, as much as possible so let’s assume the test cost is nearer £5 because of those pesky middlemen and that’s still 640m purchased.
I squeezed and squeezed and I still find that we have 330m tests sat in a warehouse… or maybe those numbers do not meet with reality and bighero should stick to investing instead of switching career to a mathematician.
Oh and here is the LFT data

Bighero- quickly becoming the source of most of the ODX board knowledge.
Depends which middleman they go through and their location.
Bighero and his team of Merry men have found that the government are paying £4 per LFT so the £144m contract is for 36m tests (or is it less as they will claim the VAT back?) My takeaway has to pay its fair share of that crafty VAT too.
If it’s 36m then it’s around 6 weeks worth of stock. Hopefully my new found Omega love can make money at £4 per test.
All this dithering looks like the perfect opportunity for your resident hero to make some more money. If this drifts back into the 40s my takeaway will be raiding it’s high security safe to swap my cash for Omega shares. A short term trade to bolster the notes in my cash filled safe.
Basically what Bighero said yesterday
Bighero knows someone who is now in isolation after a positive case picked up by NHS LFT. However, it was the third LFT that picked up the case. The first two taken with very mild symptoms missed it and then as symptoms got a little worse finally picked it up. At a guess that’s probably at peak infectious period. They do not only miss asymptomatic cases but also a positive case with mild symptoms. These are rubbish but the official stats show they picked her up and she isolated because of the LFT.
