I think on the structural buy point - yes the science (platform) works, but we need to see the therapies we are targeting having the desired effect on trial patients before any commercial movement happens and in turn dramatically affecting the SP. So it's still more about the drugs for me. So many positive layers/connections for the company at the moment though and confidence is undoubtedly building...

Hey LM - Posters are presented at conferences. Look up recent RNSs to see which conferences AVCT have/are attending. You will find the posters on the AVCT website under, Investors, Publications. They are aimed at presenting/explaining new developments/progress in the science to the scientific (academic and commercial) communities, but also to investors. ATB

You're right jam - I have just filtered! I was trying to remain open to all views - but it's just getting ridiculous.

It's probably not lost on BB folks that two traders increase 'talking the company down' once they have sold their trading pots.

Touk you sold yours at 75 and are waiting for a re-entry - hence things like AVCT "conjuring" up data = AVCT not a legitimate science company but a bunch of charlatans playing tricks.

Wyn you no doubt sold at or just below 80 - no criticism of that. But again on the drop yesterday you ramp up the negativity.

So bloody tiresome - especially when you claim to think that your BB posts don't affect the share price. I don't think they do, but you sure put a hell of a lot of time and effort in....

I don't know if this will help at all Wyndrum - but I'm not sure there is any argument to be had. I think most on here would admit that even though their excitement/hope/wishes or ok, plain old ramping, gets the better of them sometimes, it's certainly not a done deal yet until we get the data/it's proven/the funding is there etc etc.

Basically what you are shouting is "hey, reign in your excitement - we're not there yet so I am not as excited as you." That's about it. And maybe it's just the repeating of this over and over again that gets people. Who knows but if it helps settle things a little... If not GLA

Understandable there should be seem profit taking after the recent rise. Heathy really and likely a brief interrupt to what is shaping up to be a positive year for the SP. Any chartists able to comment on how things are looking from a technical perspective in the short-term plz?

I don't think there's anything new in today's release other than further modelling continues to support the case for 6103. There are no results or indications from humans in the trial yet. Nothing overly positive to shout about (other than it's a way to introduce/remind the market about today's presentations), but neither do I think the company would be as irresponsible to introduce more indications if there were any concerns at this stage. All in all it's business as normal and we wait for several potentially value-adding points as the year goes on.

It was the same yesterday afternoon. All dummy buys for me have been below mid-price. Currently 69.74p for 2500 shares

I take it as a very positive sign indeed - you would NOT invite the scientific and investment community in London to an event where you are going to shine spotlight on what's happening at Avacta if you were NOT feeling very confident about progress for AV6000 and AV6103 - they can't exactly turn up and talk about anything else can they? Any uncertainty and the event would not be put forward IMHO

We were well on the way to an uplift into the 70s/80s pre Iran. Understandable wobble since but yes, possible resumption in play and plenty catalysts upcoming to support it

Maybe look at the bigger picture VR. It's not simply about moving AV6k forward over the last five years, but the whole platform/drug delivery system and a number of warheads which is signalling a paradigm shift in treatment away from ACDs to PDCs and bringing a number benefits for the whole industry and cancer patients with it. I note that you think this is a "dog of a share". Why you continue to hold is anyone's guess...

Yeh I wouldn't pretend to know the intricacies of a listing in the US. I presume it's parked until the optimal time to do it is reached and that would be the removal of as many elements of uncertainty as possible = following first positive indications from 6103 (i.e. shouting "it works") and/or designation from FDA on breakthrough tech, fast track and the likes. Get the investor/ institution juices flowing for the kind of valuation they want it to land in the US with. Guesswork on my part admittedly!

CC has previously stated verbally and in RNS on several occasions that they see listing in the US as a logical step in the development of the company. Whether it's to go it alone, in partnership or to be bought out, CC sees a strengthening of position and value in listing in the US to leverage the best outcome. The wheels are probably already in motion but we may see some more detail and timelines once 6103 data released.

Where does the assumption that any single person does have all of their eggs in one basket come from though? Is it perhaps from a position of (deluded) authority? There's always one (wannabe) sheriff in town...

It's the arrogance that assumes just because some people choose to invest in AVCT for the long term, hold and not trade, but accumulate over the long term for the 'end game' (yes that's right, unless I've missed something it's far from over yet), their approach is ill-advised. It assumes we don't also have considerable managed funds elsewhere, property etc etc for security. The sensible, I'd say 7 -10% accumulation that it is wise to set up to see your wealth protected and grow is all good and well but it's not how I've made the significant part of my money! It's doing exactly what I'm doing in AVCT that has made it for me and let's just see how this goes from here on...
