Would be some broker upgrades, I always get a little nervous when a share shoots above almost all the projections for it. Time for some upgrades I think, will seriously help us keep up the momentum otherwise my concern is that we will drift down. Oh and Numis need to join the same world as everyone else.
I dunno, personally I'm a believer that if there are the right reasons for it then there's no reason why it can't rise each day for however long. To be fair though, there will be some profit taking, the 10%'ers will be jumping ship (I think a few grabbed an early life raft this afternoon).
Ok, cheers that's interesting. Basically on a "best case" scenario but I can see how you've got there. Personally I can't see why we can be comfortably sitting in the 120's although really I feel that given the cash generative position of the company we should be a fair chunk higher than that.
It's fairly well documented that despite all the Chinese walls etc the analysts are not independent and play to the tune that their bank play. That's why I only ever look at the general consensus view (unless there is a lot of M&A on the horizon!). It's clear that Numis have an incredibly negative view on Man, I'm not sure why, maybe they see it as a house of cards, maybe they have a client waiting in the wings to pounce if we get too cheap, who knows. What I do know is that it's unlikely to be a completely honest and independent view (as any broker rating is likely to be) and just take it with a pinch of salt.
So let me get this right, on a board for a hedge fund share which makes money from short positions you want to ban short trading?? And you are expecting a load of holders who are long on this share (i.e. holders) to back it when if it goes through the only money will be made from being short at the time??
If anything they've been increasing (http://shorttracker.co.uk/company/GB00B83VD954/all) but in a share like this shorters don't wield nearly as much power as they do with little AIM stocks...
