About 2 years ago, a hand full of institutional investors as well as a couple a large private investors owned around 75 percent of Eqtec. At that time, it was perceived that this was advantageous to have so many shares tied up in what was thought to be safe hands. This proved not to be the case, as these large shareholders began too offload all their holdings for various reasons. This crashed the price down to 0.08 purely as there were just not the amount off buyers around to soak up the massive amount of selling.

Nowadays the shares are far more evenly distributed between private Shareholder/ directors and funding companies. This hopefully means in future, instead of over 50 percent of the company trying to be sold into the market over a fairly short period, only a few percent will be offloaded at one time meaning private investors and can easily soak these up.

I am confident next week will see us move up past 2.5p and possibly attack 3p once more.

Taking advantage of news on the open

I’d be more concerned if DP had sold any. Who knows what he needed the money for, the shares have cleared therefore onwards and upwards we will go.

Issue of equity to Strategic Suppliers

The Company further announces that it will issue, in aggregate, 28,446,341 New Ordinary Shares (the "Supplier Shares") to certain strategic service providers who have provided business development and advisory services to the Group, and who previously agreed to receive such shares in satisfaction of fees due to them, such number of shares being determined by reference to the share price at certain points in time. The Supplier Shares will reduce the Group's creditors by £136,500. Included in the Supplier Shares are 12,844,444 New Ordinary Shares to be issued to Morichella Associates Limited, a company owned and controlled by Jeffrey Vander Linden, an Executive Director of the Company. Under a consultancy agreement entered into prior to Mr Vander Linden becoming an employee of the Company, which terminated on his appointment as a Director, certain amounts owed to Morichella Associates Limited could be converted into 12,844,444 new Ordinary Shares in lieu of fees owed. On Admission, Mr Vander Linden will be interested in 15,477,732 Ordinary Shares representing 0.22% of the Company's then issued share capital.

To much of a coincidence that 24,500,000 of late trades have now come through. This has to be connected to the 25 million that posters mentioned first thing this morning. There have also been around ten 500,0000 trades, mostly sells. All the same investor IMO. Remember they could well have 4 - 6 bagged already and want to move the money elsewhere.

No brokers will take a fee for a rollover. A couple of years back I use to do loads on EQT via SVS brokers

Therefore, subject to no news, at 8am the market makers will enter the days trading at 2.55 on the ask and 2.50 on the bid. This will then dictate an opening share price of 2.525 an increase of 0.105. This will represent approximately a 3% immediate gain to compensate for the 3% drop at close.

The Closing Auction

The VWAP period (1) commences at 16:20 and lasts for 10 minutes. The closing auction call (2) commences at 16:30 and lasts for five minutes, plus a random end time of up to 30 seconds. The system then determines whether a matching price can be calculated for each SETS security. Five scenarios are possible (3a-3e). Extensions may be invoked depending on whether market orders are left unexecuted or if the potential uncrossing price is outside the price monitoring tolerance (based upon the 10 minute VWAP reference price). Up to two extensions per security are allowed - one market order extension and one price monitoring extension. If at the end of the auction call (including extensions) the potential uncrossing price is still outside the price monitoring tolerance, then a volume check is performed, based on half the Normal Market Size of each security (or a minimum 2500 shares). If the auction match volume is sufficient the matching price will form the closing price, otherwise the VWAP, or if there are no trades in the VWAP period then the last AT forms the closing price.

Unfortunately, in the USA it is more often the case where each side is responsible for their own legal fees even if you win or lose. It is called the American Rule. There are exceptions, not sure if we’d be one though.

aandi - really appreciate your insight into the industry, some fantastic posts over the past month. I’ve been holding eqt for over 3 years now, seen the ups and the downs. Holding a massive chunk of stock now and already 5 bagged but have no intention of selling as I can honestly see us 5 bagging again in 2021. Think once the Aries claim is dealt with, news will following in quick succession. Could be as early as next week depending on Mondays outcome. Would be great to know that the USA market will be open to EQT as Biden getting into power is so positive for renewables. What a great year this could be for this stock. GLA
